The Alcott

I came here a year or so ago with friends and we all had a great night, lovely food, drink’s & entertainment.Wanted to go back with the same group of 4 friends to celebrate some birthdays a few weeks ago and had a very different experience.Food was very ordinary by all of us who had different meals. Staff were inattentive and unhelpful. Not sure what happened but very disappointing. We won’t be returning.

Extremely happy! We had our son's 21st family get together of 22 people here and could not fault anything from the planning, communication, room, food & drink and service on the night. The staff were friendly and fantastic. Double checking on the food order for one of our allergy guests, checking on when we wanted the food and cake to come out, quick bar service on a busy night. All our guests had a great night and commented on the great food and room. We will definitely be back and highly recommend The Alcott for special events.

Great looking place, with a nice vibe that matched the delicious food. The menu is relatively limited so we managed to order most dishes on offer. We'll need to go back and get the ones we missed out on next time. Will eat again!

Dinner for two before we headed into the city for a show. We reserved a table and it was ready for us at the allotted time and even had a table water with 2 glasses waiting which was a really nice touch.The menu here was amazing. There was so much we wanted to try yet of course could not. This means we will have to return. The food we did order was delicious. So flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The options of ordering at the bar or directly from the table via QR code was nice also. The service was pleasant with all staff being very polite and helpful. The setting of the dining room was beautiful and felt very accommodating to eat in. Highly recommend The Alcott. Special mention to the amazing Arancini - WOW.

Only a week old, this place is doing surprisingly well. Each dish was amazing and drinks were reasonably priced. Draught beer and wine selection is very good. Still a few things to iron out (like service to clear tables and timing of meals) but all in all a fantastic addition to the Lane Cove bar/restaurant scene.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a mango martini cocktail and I didn't like it as it is just a glass of slushie that you can scoop it with a spoon, not drinkable at all. I asked them if we can change it or add something to make it a drink but they just looked at my face and said 'you can add water'. Very sad to experience this as a loyal member.Edit: The restaurant manager Stewart emailed me to follow up, thank you.

Excellent! The staff were friendly and very helpful and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Best of all was the food. I had the duck and espresso soufflé and it’s the BEST meal I’ve had ANYWHERE in s long time - and it didn’t cost a fortune!

Amazing addition to Lane Cove. Somewhat understated exterior but an amazing interior.Inside is a nice multi level layout. We didn’t go upstairs, but the middle level hosts a number of different areas to sit and eat/drink. The terrace was nice, although too cold at this time of year... unless you have more balls than me.Food. Wow. Incredible. The three things we ordered (burrata, half chicken and lamb ribs) were all 5/5. Go here and check it out!Reminder: Within 5km you will need to be a member.

The Sunday roast is amazing at the Alcott...team with a few of of their sensational cocktails and you have a great afternoon or evening. The staff are always warm and inviting
