Defensive Driving School

The teacher asked me to give her money in cash instead of transferring it to her driving institution bank account (as instructed by her boss). Many of the times, the teacher doesn't show up for lessons. I'm guessing our appointments were not booked in the system.After the teacher taught me 25 lessons, she still didn't teach me the basics of driving - like how to adjust a mirror. And she kept suggesting me to date men of the same color/race. Told me not to date white guys. She brought that up 5 times instead of teaching me how to drive well.Her name is Kamela.Please be warned. Other teachers may be doing the same things.

I HIGHLY recommend Ian as an instructor !!!I have nothing but good things to say about Ian- he has good communication, a great teacher and knows how to help you improve. He helped me pass my test to which i'm very thankful for ! You should definitely book your next lesson with Ian !

Simply amazing. I faild 2 times before, but with Gerhard from Defensive Driving School it became so simple for me that I passed with flying colors. Gerhard is outstanding. Very calm, very patient and understanding. I am glad I took lessons from him. Hats off to Gerhard and Defensive Driving School.

That was the worse ever experience I had. My instructor was Gerhard which he didn't provide what I need to learn for the exam and he just set lessons to get more money without instructing the sections of exams. I had about 12 lessons with him and he didn't even train the left behind sth" before exam and I just tried to learn that on YouTube. He just got my money and was not worked and trained that much with me for the exam. As a result

So unprofessional. Was charged $150 for a test/lesson. Was picked up at 7:10 (late) for a lesson before sitting a test booked for 8. Was dropped home at 8 as the instructor, Adrian, told us, without even properly checking, that the log book wasn't filled out properly so there was no point sitting the test (even though the test was already paid for and non refundable). After calling the licensing centre and being informed that we had indeed filled out the log properly, I called and spoke with the owner, Brian. He was extremely rude and after trying to say the paperwork was incorrect, then backtracked and said it was because he was not ready to sit the test yet. I asked how it was justified that we still get charged the entire $150 even though he was with Adrian for less than an hour and did not sit a test and he couldn't give me a reasonable response. The only answer I could get was that it was a 'he said, she said' case, even though Brian acknowledged that we were only with the instructor for that short time. Not even a part refund was offered and both Brian and Adrian were extremely unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately as I was dealing with the owner directly, and he is clearly a cheap, rude man, I can't go any further as far as the business is concerned. But I will be making sure to post negative reviews anywhere I can, including facebook groups and community pages, and I will be sharing my story with everyone I know.

The instructor didn't even show up! I booked a lesson for 8am, scrambled to get ready in time, and sat by the front door for half an hour before deciding to call them to see what was up - and no one answered the phone, despite me trying several times. I would understand if they were 5, 10, or even 15 minutes late, especially if it was the middle of the day and they were running late from the previous lesson - but at 8am?? Don't waste your time with these fools - thankfully they take cash, so they didn't get their pathetic little hands on my money :)

I tried defensive driving school. The coach is a woman called Mildred. She was very unprofessional and rude. I was a new student and didn't know how to drive properly, I had some questions to ask her but she was very inpatient and upset with me. She did't answer my questions properly and feel I was challenging her. She even sweared WTF" in the car when I drove!I remember I learnt parking with her

Such a bad experience! The instructor Guri would not give out her phone number only email... which she would not respond to. She didn't turn up on occasion and 2 days before my daughters test(when mydaughter messaged to confirm the time) said she had another lesson booked at that time! so that was $117 lost. My daughter is stressed and I am furious. Beware!
