Great spot for snorkelling or kayaking. Lots of fish to see and the wrecks are beautiful. Sand on the beach is very soft and great place for a picnic.

LOVED this excursion. We opted for the water scooter" format vs just swimming it because of how short the time was and we are so glad we did. Not only were we able to access more areas of the wrecks but we got to see so much more of the ships from being able to move faster. We are all pretty strong swimmers but the currents were rough so it even made this easier because we weren't exhausted by them while those coming back from the swim only tours looked beat.Note; if it's a gloomy day

It is amazing to think that this place is only a hour boat ride away from Brisbane or the north end of the Gold Coast! It has an amazing selection of fish...better than I have seen in most snorkelling hot spots! Highly recommended a visit!

Good snorkeling, but strong current. Suggest walking up the beach and drifting with the current. Holidays and weekends bring crowds of boats and 4WD. The wrecks also provide protection from the waves to make beaching your boat easier for a lunchtime beach picnic.

Increadible snorkelling experience, nothing really like outside the Great Barrier Reef and certainly nothing so close to one of Australias major cities.

AMAZING...... all round. Day trip - Ferry trip across approx $50-60 return per person includes a drink on board, adults receive a $20 food voucher, and kids receive a $15 food voucher to spend on the island. Boat trip across aprox 75mins with commentary and great staff to assist you. You are allowed to use most facilities in the resort, including the pool, basket ball courts, tables with shades, and pergolas all-round to use. Great food from the beach cafe. We took our own snorkel gear. Hired a see-through 2 person kayak for an hr so we could see a bit more of the wrecks. Very strong current, so unless you are a strong swimmer, don't do it without a guide or kayak. They have a lot of extra activities, such as Segway on sand, 4 wheeler sand bikes, guided kyak and snorkel tours, helicopter joy flights and a whole lot more. Beautiful beach with pristine sand. It was such a great day trip, and I can't wait to go back with the family again. ❤️

Great spot for swimming and snorkeling among the ship wrecks. Many tropical fish, coral and sealife. Take care, as there’s quite a stong current in the area at times, but its still manageable by most. Short and easy walk from the MICAT ferry along the beach to get there. Wrecks are best seen from the beach during low tide.

Excellent Day Trip on the Boat from Port of Brisbane, highly recommend for a door to door, easy yet stunning adventure. Sailed with Moreton Island Adventures - TBH Boat needs a bit of TLC on the cleaning
