Great customer service, so nice to feel looked after. Ran through everything with me that was done to the van and vehicle.Called me through the day to update me.Also really encouraged me to call or drop in if I had any further questions.

take car in to get quote for stereo change over, quoted between $100 - $110. Which was on par with all the other local places as it required removal via dash as clips were broken. Saved up the money to take car in for it. left car there and was called at 12.30pm to say that the job took a little longer than expected and the fee would be a little higher due to wiring. A little higher I could understand. Went in half hour later to collect car and bill was $279.13 (from $110 quote). Which i didn't have. He told me I couldn't take the car until it was paid in full. After a heated discussion to and fro I paid what i could and am expected to finalise the account within a week, i had kids to pick up from school and kinder. Just be mindful your quote can rise by 160% by the time you pick up!

I took car in to install some small camping upgrades which cost over $1k in labor to only put my land cruiser into limp mode twice and cause my appliances to seize to operate. After trying to organise an inspection to work out what has happened all they could tell me that my 6 month old dual battery system is rubbish (that a previous auto elec installed) even after they were happy to work with the system the first time around.

Very helpful and did a great and not too expensive

I took a friends van to loose wire because the speed sender wasn't working, they kept the van for over a week with no progress updates, finally they charged $1000 dollars, all they did was change one control fuse, the speed sender still isn't working, then told me to buy a new one for an additional $500. They charged 8 hours labour to change 1 fuse, then wrote a long invoice with irrelevant items such as 'put van on hoist'. I was told by other auto electricians it was maximum $300 in work, when questioned on this I was told by them that I should have got someone else to do it, then hung up on. They gave no progress updates or warning on rising price, and they did not fix the issue. Terrible customer service, would not recommend, chance of getting ripped off is high

I've been taking my cars to Loose Wire for years now for either necessary repairs or for modifications and upgrades.These guys always guide me in the right direction to get me out of trouble.They do things right the first time and get the right product to suit my needs and budget.I've always felt confident to recommend Loose Wire to my friends and family.

Went to get Battery tested and a new Battery. Got price of the Battery fitted then added $47 for 15 min work. I have never paid for fitting the Battery ever.Rang my previous Auto Elect..asked about a Battery was told no charge for fitting, so rang another 3 Auto elects within 50ks only one stated up front a $10 fee to fit battery. One must ask why this one charged me $47.Rang to get a quote to fit a Battery, this time it was $25 so why was I charged $47?Spoke to my neighbour who had a quote for some work awhile back, was under quoted then asked to pay over the quoted price.Seems to be a trend hereDefinately would NOT recommend..no customer focus here!Here is a Messenger reply to the above by Bailey Ward.Sorry for your disappointment with your charge as we tested the start battery which was faulty and removed and replaced start battery and cleaned battery terminals and connections checked charge rate on start battery tested operations of dc to dc charger on auxiliary battery that u have had issues with before by someone else's faulty workmanship and had a visual inspection of wiring battery systems in engine bay this is the labor charge sorry we did not write this on the invoice as we did this job on the spot to help you out and had other work to carry on with to finish off the dayMy reply is:No that is Not correct..the guy did nothing other than check battery.. removed battery clean terminal 10 seconds and put in new Battery..Nothing else was checked or spoken about it took about 15 min from the time of entering in your shop...so why charge for things not doneIf the guy has said he did the above that you replied to that is not correctI wait for your response...Ring me if u like on 041858xxxxTonyThe work done on my redarc battery wiring was done by your workshop about 12 + months earlier..and you state you charge for a visual inspection..$47.50 for a visual inspection?..please explain.I have since heard nothing more from Bailey Ward.Still no response..?I have 3 friends that were looking at setting up for a van..after my chat they are going elsewhere and will be telling their friends....Still no response to the above....Now 8 people who have gone elswhere increased to 14 people told about my situation and they have gone elsewhere....Remove

Had trouble with the power system ( both 240v and 12 Volt) They put me in as an emergency and quickly got around to trying to sort out problem. Best of all they kept me informed step by step on what they were doing. Professional in attitude Price was well under what we expected Could not recommended them enough.

Knew there stuff, replaced the battery. Came out quickly, good service
