Come & visit Angie & the lovely friendly team! Perfect position, overlook the water at the bottom end of the street. Shame about the parking.Great coffee, a large is a LARGE, great selection of naughty but nice cakes and a very good selection of gluten free cakes. Lovely outside seating - soon to have a takeaway window and a freshen up. I’ll be back!!

The cafe is perfect for getting breakfast in town. It is very close to the beach and offering a very relaxing vibe. The staff are super friendly and the food taste really good. We ordered the big breakfast and the beans with chorizo, both taste really amazing and we finished them all. The portion is quite nice and made quite full for the whole day!

So good coffee and breakfast. We came due to google review and definitely worth the try. We had big breakfast and corn fritters which were so nice and amazing coffee.

Absolutely beautiful food and a fantastic atmosphere, Doubletake Cafe is hands down the best food you'll find in the entire Newcastle and Central Coast area.The management and staff are wonderful and very well deserving of all the positive reviews.We'll be coming back every chance we get.

The lamb wrap is the best wrap I've ever had. Chips couldn't be better. Vege bowl was great too. Big servings. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options. Outdoor dog friendly seating. Although it was a very hot day the outdoor shaded area was cool with a nice breeze off the lake. Staff were efficient, meal and drinks came fast although they were busy. Cannot fault our experience.

This place has so much potential, but just couldn't deliver when it came to the quality of the meal.The overall flavors and assortment of food was before average.The staff were nice enough and I enjoyed that I could sit outside, but the inside is slightly dated.Menu has some decent options, but my main complaint is the overall quality of the food. I'd suggest using better bread, make real hashbrowns instead of frozen ones, be more mindful about sauses/dressings, and just bump the overall quality.I don't think I'll be back.
