We stayed here for a night so we could be close to the local attractions and go snorkelling at Ewens Ponds in Port Macdonnell. Didn’t expect too much but we were really surprised how much nicer the room and amenities in real life compared to the photos. Super spacious, comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom. The reclining chair was my favourite spot to chill. Staff are very welcoming and lovely. We also got breakfast at the restaurant as part of our package and the food is delicious. Very well prepared and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again when we head to Kilsby Sinkhole next time. Thank you!

Great value accommodation!!! The rooms were well equipped and very clean. The TV wasn’t working though but not a huge deal. The space was very well kept.The food from the in-house restaurant was delicious! We had the beef skewer which was absolutely delicious and the paella for the main which was delicious but the portion size was pretty small! Apart from that the experience was great!

4 star hotel that provides 5 star meals and breakfast, absolutely tasty eggs, bacon, chorizos and the dinners are superb high quality ingredients with amazing presentation highly recommend the pork belly porchetta. Waitress are very nice and great at their job. Stayed here here from Friday 26th to Monday 29th May. Also the alcoholic beverage selection is hugeThe rooms are nice with a comfortable bed, decent sized TV (WITH FOXTEL)

Grand King Room - very spacious, clean & importantly a very comfortable bed. Now the room was great, but the restaurant is something else. If theres a better eatery in Mt Gambier id like to know where it is. Food, service & presentaion is immaculate. Thank you!

Restaurant is good. However last time during my stay I was waken by staffs chatting outside of my room at 4 a.m. one of them even smoked and I could smell that in my room which made me sick.That ruined the experience.Edited:Sorry for the incorrect blaming.Would be great if there is a sign telling people not to smoke or talk loud at night.

Good location.Room has all amenities which was great.Room clean and tidySofa lounge very uncomfortable.Bed was very uncomfortable needs new mattress as both sides had dips in them.Staff were friendly.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were, without exception, courteous, helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean(except grouting seal in shower, as is usual). The bed was very comfortable. Air con worked well. And our breakfast was lovely. Would certainly come again.

The room was reasonably sized for the price and location was fantastic as it was right in the middle of Mount Gambier. Food for breakfast was fabulous and service was exemplary.We booked the terrace room and was in room 28. Disappointed to find out that the patio was full of algae which made it very undesirable to step out.However, what left a sour taste in my mouth was that we had to pay for a dental kit at an exorbitant price of $4 each, barring the fact that we were told it was $2 instead by another staff member the night before. It was also unclear that drinks weren't included for breakfast and the cost just snuck its way into our final bill. Would have definitely been a 5 star experience if we hadn't experienced any of those.

Great room very clean , had the best sleep the bedding was great.The staff very friendly.Had to park long trailer could park right near the room.Stay in room 27 if you have a family
