Absolutely love your products and support your store all the time! Such a shame that you are closing at 5:00pm now as it doesn’t give me time to buy my evening meal after work. Any chance you can change it back to 5:30pm?Will continue to support your store! Only buy my meat from you!

Purchased a few steaks off Meatsmith Balwyn this year as it's right next to my apartment and they certainly look the part. Treated myself to a large ribeye today and couldn't wait to cook it. The last few have seriously lacked sufficient flavour however. All steaks I buy are well seasoned, cooked and rested. I am always eager to support a local business, particularly a butcher, as it's becoming a dying trade. However, at $50 a cut, I'll be heading to Boccaccio down the road.

An absolute delight from start to finish. We are lucky to have such a wonderful, forward thinking butcher in the area. They are a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for (especially with meat and fine foods) . Keep up the good work Meatsmith team!

Not your average butcher, Meatsmith sells restaurant quality meat and meals with all the trimmings. We bought some great steaks with the friendly staff suggesting potential sides (including fresh baked bread) and sauces sold in store. They have a great range of ready to bake pastries and savouries which we plan to try. It is quite pricey, so be firm if you are on a budget.

Great meats and small goods. Started stocking haggis just recently to add to the range. Good value considering what you get compared to the quality down the road at the supermarket in the prepacked meats.

Has gone down hill in terms of meat flavour and tough. I was a regular weekly shopper but something has changed over the last 2 months. Porterhouse tough, scotch no flavour. Maybe it will improve but not value for money ATM.

Very disappointed. Was excited to buy a selection of four types of sausages (whose price suggested they would be very good indeed). All but one were so excessively salty they burnt my tongue and overpowered any other flavour. Went to shop to ask whether this was normal. To his credit, the butcher came out to speak with me, but his response was 'I'm sorry you didn't like them'. He didn't seem concerned, and didn't ask if I could bring him any as a sample. Despite all of the marketing, this is not a business which cares about its products, if this is how they treat a problem. Left vowing never to go back - there are other butchers who care about their customers and take issues seriously, even if they don't wrap their goods in such pretty paper.

The staff are knowledgeable on the products and very helpful, friendly and polite. Customer service is fantastic at MeatSmith and the products are of high quality. By far the best lamb I’ve ever had!
