I have been with this company nearly twenty years. The staff have to deal with all manner of difficulties, I throw at them.I can’t speak too highly of their service and efficiency.

The service provider by Phil from Allen Page is truly appalling. If you’re a woman or not a boomer, avoid him at all costs.We had a meeting with Phil to discuss my father’s tax returns, just days before my father passed. Phil repeatedly asked the same questions but wouldn’t listen to the answers, and had also come to the meeting ill-prepared, without information he needed that you could easily find on Google.He also gave incorrect advice on CGT of an estate - also information you could easily verify via a Google search.Beyond this, his general demeanour was arrogant and disrespectful, which was absolutely appalling given our sensitive situation. Phil compared our situation - in which we’d both lost both parents by their mid-60s - to just having lost his mother at aged 98.When we complained about the service we received, he called our uncle (despite us being women in our mid 30s!) to express his frustration. When we followed up with an email about the rude and inferior service, he refused to acknowledge our frustrations, and sent a $600 bill. He is now threatening to add legal fees to that bill for “non-payment”.I know that the accounting profession is increasingly becoming redundant, I’m pretty excited for this rude dinosaur to go down with that ship.
