I purchased a tyre from MyCar approximately seven months ago and had it fitted. Unfortunately, while driving, the new front tyre came off the rim, nearly causing me to lose control of my vehicle. I contacted MyCar via phone, and they informed me that all their tyres have a 12-month warranty, so they scheduled a free replacement for me the following day. However, upon arriving at the Arana Hills MyCar, I was informed that the warranty only covers tyre repairs, not replacements. Concerned about the potential damage to my wheel and rim, I had to remove my spare tyre and bring both the damaged tyre and the spare to the shop with a friend, which was very inconvenient, just to be turned around. I was disappointed to receive false information over the phone and faced an unexpected and inconvenient situation. This wasn't handled well by the staff member at the desk who basically said 'not my problem you were told false information by the call centre'. It seems like the call centre for mycar should know more information regarding warranty, and the workers at arana hills should handle situations like this better. I have booked a tyre replacement at another, more reputable store for a cheaper price so seems like it was for the better anyway. My other 3 tyres were much older so to have this tyre come off the rim without trauma seems like the fault lies with the mechanics at mycar Arana Hills.

They were very helpful and polite, especially Jarred who was really good at explaining everything. They didn’t seem like they were trying to stitch me out of money either so I will definitely be going back for my next service.

Dear future customer,I don't know why their review is good. It was my first time visiting there, and they tried to rip you off.I went there for a road worthy certificate and did some inspection, and they listed so many things, which was unnecessary. Thank god I checked the other mechanic.They seem friendly but they asked me to replace everything..I heard that since it's a franchise, they have to meet certain quotas.Please go somewhere else where you can trust. This is the worst place that I have ever been.I spent $80 for inspection, and I regret it.

The Team at mycar Arana Hills are always extremely polite and ar e an absolute pleasure to deal with. We have made the decision to service all out cars with them after having such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
