The food here was extremely good. Had a steak and chips, which was listed as a 350g porterhouse. What came out looked and felt like 500g, and it was a great cut of meat, cooked spot on. The salad and chips complimented the steak nicely. Service was fast and efficient, and the staff taking our order was kind and keen to assist how they could. For a Thursday evening, there weren't as many people as I imagined, and the premises was deceivingly smaller than how the outside looked. I would recommend this pub for a nice meal with the family and friends.

Beaut meal, cold beer, unfortunately the expression 'GUYS' enjoys a lot of use, particularly when refering to women and couples.

Staff were a bit rude when I couldn't produce a licence to sign in, nearly walked out then and should have. There was a 15% surcharge for public holiday which, as far as I'm concerned, is a bit rich. Just average size meal for the price and salad was very wilted and dry. I saw a couple of meals go back to the kitchen. I won't be going back.

Met at door by staff who were helpful. My husband and father enjoyed their meals, but l was disappointed with the Thai chicken curry. There were chunky pieces of chicken in dish but, most of chicken was overcooked and disintegrated. I thought it was rice at first, but rice had been served nicely on the side. I found one piece of ? Potato and not much else apart from sprinkle of spring onion.

Upon entry ask jane if could use the toilet and then come back and yes sign in after travelling 2hrs yes needed the loo first but jane you have to sign in now, when busting husband and i where going to play in the venue and have lunch now lost us as customers never to return ,people like us pay your wages unhappy jane

Went for dinner, staff where pleasant, food was good, restaurant was lovely, plenty of parking. Would go back.

Awesome atmosphere & terrific feed always. The roast lamb is tops, with the jelly mint on the side it completes the dish perfectly. Meals always come out quick & hot. Staff are very friendly, give a warm welcome on arrival & always remember my name.

Went in for a raspberry lemonade while out on a bike ride today. I was required to sign in which wasn't a problem, but my drivers licence was a little warped from being on the dash of a fire truck on a hot day. Staff member came over to look at my licence and snapped it in half, presumably trying to un-warp it. I left without having a raspberry lemonade. Not impressed. Never again.I will forward the cost for replacing my licence to The Borough Club once I have a receipt.
