Jacobs Well Airfield - Gold Coast Sports Flying Club

I flew in once in a C172, met many local pilots and aircraft owners. They all seemed lovely. No landing fees.

No lights at this airport. I crashed. Heckin bad.

I learnt to fly here under the great instructor Chris Howarth . Chris is the nicest guy you will meet . He is awesome at teaching ,explaining and demonstrating all the principles of flying.What a great place to be learning at . I couldn’t have felt more welcome.The plane that I flew was awesome , a brand new Viper SD4.The location is ideal , 5 minutes and you are heading out to the beautiful ocean with options of North Stradbroke and The Gold Coast.Overall , the school is brilliant and the club and its members are awesome . There are always great people to talk to and a few characters that will keep you laughing for hours.... Ric .I will definitely continue going out there.
