Timberset

We recently moved into our Timberset built home. Building a home these days is a massive project with many unknowns, for us even more so being completely off-grid from all services. Despite this, Vicky and Paul at Timberset were communicable, flexible and had our interests in mind every step of the way. The owner, Vicky, even came to finish painting the inside of the house when the painters had COVID and they were racing summer closures.Paul and the builders were always open to chat about details on-site and were great at meeting our many specific requests.The product:Timberset’s unique interior pine wall creates a home of that feels warm and earthy, and the ‘cabin feel’ is well balanced by the white ceiling lining and other modern touches. The house is functional and finished with an attention to detail. The house is also very well sealed (no draughts!) and being off grid we’re glad we got the premium insulation offering- summer was manageable with just ceiling fans (house has a 7.4 star energy rating).We’re relieved we’re finished with the stressful process of building but highly recommend the Timberset product over other similar cost houses we’ve seen.
