Best Western Zebra Motel

Travelling for work and I had a lovely overnight stay here. Beds were perfect. Although I did get woken up a few times from others walking outside, overall very good.Location is close to everything you need

Great staff, clean and inexpensive, but the noise in the pet-friendly room at the front of the motel facing the Pacific Highway was incredible: spiking well over 80 dB based on my phone app. It would be a kindness to anyone booked into the affected rooms to offer ear plugs or warn them so they can bring their own.

Typical country motel. We had a pet friendly room which had two quite large beds. Plus a little kitchenette and great shower. Easy access on and off the highway - either way. An upstairs if you are so inclined. Close to just about everything. Good friendly service - clean and tidy. Awesome brewery within close walking distance. Try the pork knuckle ... and beers. Short drive to beach, Comic Museum etc - or brisk walk.

Whilst the bed was comfy, the whole experience was unnecessarily disappointing and awful.I had asked for a possible transfer to a non-adjoining room as had been travelling many Kms and was concerned re extra noise (which had already occurred) , and was met with the older female manager yelling. She was rude, sarcastic and extremely unprofessional. This was totally unnecessary. I tried talking to this woman, but was spoken over and met with such rudeness I'm surprised this woman has not been asked to leave. She informed me my hearing must be excellent (plus other sarcastic comments) as she's never had a complaint re noise. I've read a number of reviews stating how noisy this accommodation is.What a nightmare. It's exactly what u don't need after a long drive!

Awesome place near the beach, friendly amazing staff so helpful. Not only dog friendly they love animals. Booked 2 nights ended up staying for 5 nights. Loved the place. The classic style motel.I'll be returning.

It's a budget hotel I feel bad how much I paid for it. Constant highway noise until night, not motels fault. However, unclean dishes and cups, and a floor that leaves black on child's legs crawling on floor is begging for a steam clean. It's a ok motel if you can get it for $110 is about what it's worth.

My wife and I stayed at Best Western Zebra Motel, Coffs Harbour for 6 nights. The staff were all professional, extremely friendly and very helpful while the room was clean and tidy after each service of the room. The price for the room was very reasonable and the motel’s location was easy to find.

We had a fantastic experience with Best Western. Not only did the hotel have rooms which allowed dogs, our car had an issue on the night of our arrival and eventually had to be towed to the Sunshine Coast. We were due to check out on Sunday and , being a weekend, it took longer to organise for a rental car. The receptionists were so accommodating and helpful. They never made us feel pressured to leave the room as we kept them up to date with how we were progressing with getting a rental organised.We were very impressed with their service and care and will definitely be booking here again to support them in return for the support they gave us when we needed it.Thank you so much team for going over and above.

We had a one night stay at this accommodation. We chose king size bed room.We found the bed to be a little soft for our liking, and it could possibly be rotated more. We found that if one adult moved or rolled in the bed. The other adult was Disturbed. This rarely happens in a king bed. Maybe it’s time to buy new mattresses.The linen was Krisp clean and smelt nice.It smelt like they had just had the carpet steam cleaned.The room is quite large with a separate bathroom. It was extremely clean and tidy from top to bottom. I usually wet wipe all touch points ( never know who stayed before you) and I found there to be no dust.The windows have darkening curtains and the room itself was very dark at night.Even though this accommodation is on the main road, we could hardly hear the traffic stop.There’s a lovely pool though we didn’t have a swim, but it looked inviting.The only negative that we found with our accommodation was the air-conditioner wasn’t cool enough.With the doors and windows closed and the air on there really was no air circulation. We checked the filters on the air-conditioner and they were very clean.Maybe the air-conditioners need servicing and cleaning internally. The air-conditioner is located down the back of the room and the beds are located at the front of the room and the cool air doesn’t reach the front, even on full fan.We would suggest maybe a ceiling fan to circulate the air.Young lady at reception was very friendly.Would we stay there again? Yes, but we would probably bring a small desk fan.
