Guys were helpful I ended up buying what I didn't plan to buy because of the customer service. Thank you very much I am enjoying the items I purchased and I will visit again for the first class solutions you offer to customers.

I got a special offer in my email for a 15 litre Rovin Fridge Freezer. Only $149.95.What a terrific fridge. Very advanced with smartphone app, car battery low voltage protection and a proper fridge compressor so it can freeze as well down to -22°c. Not a Peltier effect one.Just took it on 4 day road trip around SEQ.Also got the optional AC adapter.Worked Great.Staff at Jaycar also very friendly and helpful.A+

I was very well serviced when buying an item. Later it developed a fault. I tried to have a resolution by contact us" (on a Jaycar website) which apparently went to a central location and was ignored for several weeks including after another follow-up from me. This was not a fault of the Capalaba store. When I phoned them for assistance the response was excellent."

You have no film capacitors, never have any transistors I need and the things you do have are extremely over priced. If you're going to charge me an arm and a leg, at least have what I need. Thanks for saving me money by not stocking anything. Screw you for wasting my time.2 stars because the customer service is improving, the new girl was actually helpful. She is a hell of a lot better than the old guy that gives downright bad advice, at least he won't speak to you unless spoken to.

Everything is ludicrously expensive here, they stock cheap Chinese alibaba electronics components and gadgets and sell them under the duinotech" brand at a ludicrous markup. About the only upside to getting anything here is having a warranty

I would prefer to give no star at allJust had the worst experience with Jaycar. Not just one store but two. First one was at Caboolture second one was at Capalaba. Went to the Caboolture store (because we were over that way) and asked for what is in photo 1 (black 50 amp lead but I asked for 100 amp as we wanted 100 not 50) and was given what is in photo 2 ( which the guy at Caboolture said was 100 amp but the fellow at Capalaba said was 180 amp) Got home to find out it was too heavy so went to Capalaba store and asked again for what was in photo 1 and was given what is in photo 3 (which he told me was 112 amp) and they short changed me by 1 meter which I know doesn’t sound much but their first mistake cost me $140 with no refund because it was cut and their second mistake cost me 1 meter short and and extra $12 for the meter I didn’t get. Out of pocket by $152 and 1 meter short of cable. When I rang the Capalaba store I was told they didn’t sell 180 amp or 112 amp none of these 3 people we dealt with agreed on anything which tells me that none of them know what they’re doing. Don’t go to either of these stores. I will never go to a Jaycar store ever again. Can’t see where to post photos but you get the general idea.

The staff were very busy but kept calm and got through a large crowd of customers. Parking is pretty limited, but people are in and out soon enough.

Jaycar is a good shop for basic electronic products. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

Very well laid out store with all manner of DIY components and parts and tools, plus computer and AV equipment, learner kits, solar parts, and more.I asked for advice on a project and the fellow serving me was enthusiastic (and seemed to know his stuff).Prices were reasonable, it was handy seeing everything physically to know what could be combined.Agree with other reviewers that the carpark is smaller, 10-12 spaces. Options nearby, plus most shoppers seem to be in and out so a loop around the block will probably see spaces free up.3 stars for meeting expectations, and 1 extra star for exceeding them.

Don't honour the return of faulty goods principle. If you end up with a faulty item, bad luck they say.
