I had never heard of this place until my sister invited me along with her 2 boys. I don't know who had more fun; the boys or me!! This pace tends to bring out the big kid" in you. There are 3 or 4 trains heading around the tracks

Amazing place for our family and especially our 2yr old who loves trains. The look on his face was priceless. All the staff, drivers, volunteers and engineers were extremely friendly and made all ages feel welcome along with being hard working at running a tight ship and a clean 'n tidy setting.Highly recommended for parties, family days out and train buffs of all ages.Will definitely return for another day out.

Great place for the kids and the train ride runs for a good 10mins. $7 per person and you can ride on the trains as many times as you want to. Small criticism they only except cash and the closet atm is back on south Rd at the petrol stations. But overall great fun.

My toddler absolutely loved this experience and kept asking for more. Pay once for unlimited rides on the day. We didn't have to wait long for each train. There are different types of trains and the staff are friendly. Lots of park land and a playground near by. It could do with some more seating for spectators though.

With plenty of space for picnics, the Railway Yard is a great day out for families or to celebrate a birthday. While there is plenty of space, it is highly recommended to bring some shade to keep out of the sun on warmer days. The train rides are a fixed price for unlimited rides and with multiple trains running at any one time, there is never a long wait to jump on for a ride. @cwade_creative

Great afternoon with my sons. So many smiles. Very lucky to have this great entertainment in the southern suberbs. The steam train is my personal favourite. Well run by the operators and volunteers. Also nearby is an amazing remote control car race track. There was no competition on the day I was there but there was 3 cars on the track, either racers practicing or simply a local having a go. Really cool and something else that the kids really enjoyed. It would be great to see a bigger playground built. There is a small one (actually 2 small ones) but it was so busy the kids could hardly move.
