THE BEST there is when it comes to trouble-shooting your tech problems and providing advice on the best product for you. Living in a stone house we struggled to find a reliable wifi for our home business. The Powermax company went above and beyond to assist us even after being flooded twice themselves and needing to move to new premises. Always very courteous, supremely knowledgable and available to travel in our often service compromised area.Gorgeous Alex...the owner is a rare and beautiful human and his personality has rubbed off on his lovely staff . We doubt that our own business would survive without Powermax computers.

Booked in an appointment to have my iphone fixed as an Apple repairer. Contacted them the day before to confirm that it would be able to be fixed (crack in screen). Told yes and they checked they had the right screen for my phone. Travelled over an hour to attend appointment and after paying for screen and leaving shop was phoned 30mins later to be advised they had made a mistake and did not have a screen for my phone!!!! Day taken off from work 3 hour return trip for nothing!!!!!I would NEVER recommend this shop. I logged an appointment which has all my phone details through the Apple website, double checked by phoning them and still they couldn't get it right!One star is too much of a rating for them.

I had an issue with a Mac Pro that the warranty repairers could not resolve. Alex and PowerMax resolved the issue and have helped me in other cases. Alex has an amazing bedside manner and everybody I dealt with has been very helpful. PowerMax is a very, very good business and we are lucky to have them in Lismore.

Went in this afternoon to spend $2000 dollars. Got terribly greeted by the lady sitting down. You think after being able to work again, one would be helpful. Absolutely the complete opposite. I asked what the difference was between the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models. Was told the pro is for someone more creative and has more money, even though the CPU specs where the same. I then asked, was it just battery life and weight? Only to get a response of “that must be it!!” How can you sell apple products and not know the different selling points? I then asked about iPads and it was a hassle to get this lady off the chair and from behind the counter. Once again not helpful. I should have gone to Harvey Norman or even office works for the computer I purchased. Then I had to also ask and prompt her to take my details for warranty purposes. Will never spend a cent at PowerMax. It’s a Power zero. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
