Michal and his team have just finished sanding and refinishing the front half of the house. In a couple of months he comes back to do the back. His advice on the appropriate preparation and finishes for our floor was invaluable and the results are outstanding - see photos.We had just re-stumped and the floorbaords were uneven requiring considerably greater amount of sanding than Michal anticipated, but there were no complaints and no variation to our fixed price quote. Michal has always been reliable and professional in his approach.

I didn't use Michael service however upon receiving a request for a quote he identified the issues of our floors (just from the photo) and gave me very good professional and knowledgeable advices about the rights and wrongs with my current floor, what I could do from there, what I should watch out for, etc etc.I wish I didn't hire the floor person who caused me all these issues and came to know Michael earlier. Strongly recommend Michael for all of your residential/commercial flooring requirements.

Michal responded to my HiPages Advertisement quickly and even though I already had a quote which Michal was honest about not being able to match he spent quite some time on the phone to me providing detailed information and guidance about my floor repair. He was so helpful and knows so much about his trade. I am currently renting and the floor repair is end of lease but once I build my own home I will definitely be asking him if he would be interested in doing the job. Cannot praise this business and professionalism highly enough. Amazing!

So I moved in to a new rental and the floors needed some sanding and polish. Michal promptly called me after I asked for a quote on a website for tradies. He was very professional, friendly and I could trust him.Ultimately we were not going ahead with the job and we advised Michal. Absolute legend went right ahead to inform me about how I could maintain the floor myself and protect my family from the dust and etc.Hire him, save yourself anxiety. We had our timber deck sanded and restored by Michael...and we must say we were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Michael where timber decks are concerned. We never thought we would get our deck back to what it was...he kept us informed throughout the whole process ,with communications and hundreds of photos to show. The result of his dedication to his work is outstanding ....and on top of that to use a nontoxic material was even better...we would recommend Michael without any hesitation to anyone needing their timber floor done. I would highly recommend Polaco floors. Michal did an amazing job bringing our uncovered 60 plus year old floorboards back to life. Michal also resanded and polished a room that we had a previous person do (the previous person did a terrible job) and the difference between Michal and some cheap alternative is night and day. Honestly worth the money, and was very upfront with what we can expect from the quality of our floors.
