Townsville Sports Precinct
I have been to Townsville sports precinct a few times with my grandchildren for their various sports. There is a very shady tree to sit under and watch the sports events happening on the oval. Or, if you're keen, you can sit in the grandstand and get a bird's eye view of what's happening below. There are also plenty of shady car parks along the street to help keep your car cool. Or, if you're staying in accommodation nearby, you can easily walk to and from this sports facility.

Great venue, has exceptional lighting and very well maintained facilities throughout. The staff are very helpful and professional if you're organising an event there. The fields are superb and suitable for the highest levels of competition. Would absolutely use again.

2022 Challenge Games saw children with special needs from prep to year 12 compete and have fun in an inclusive 2-day event. Schools from Townsville and as far abroad as Mt. Isa descended on TSR for this annual event.

Watched my Granddaughter play footy here sadly they lost by 1 point. But it was a lovely experience, the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff and service was fantastic.

Amazing area covering multiple sports. We were there for a junior touch carnival. Amazingly well organised, lots of parking and local food vans on-site during the carnival.

Visited Norths Tennis Club. The facility is well maintained by the volunteers who run the clubThere are two courts, newly surfaced available for hire. There is a club house with kitchen and a covered seating area for spectators. Contact details are on the front gate
