Sunnybank is not predominately known for customer service as the food is the service provider generally speaking. That said, this place provides it all. From the moment you walk in to the time you sit down and place your order — anticipate warm and friendly service from all staff. This is a happy place filled with happy employees. Not something you often come across anywhere in Brisbane let’s be honest.The food is amazingly delicious and reasonably priced for what this place is worth. Absolutely outstanding quality.Thank you for making my birthday special even as an adult. I felt noticed and appreciated even though I’m not Chinese at all but appreciate the food and the quality side of the Chinese culture.Thanks again.Tina AgassizHighly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Seriously, this was the most fun an Aunt could have on her birthday with her niece and nephews, and family. Right from the start, we felt like we were in good hands. The kind staff gave my parents and the kids pre-dinner snacks, set us up in a private room with birthday decorations and surprises. The food ordering process and service was very efficient - our fresh dishes came quickly and the soup bases were very flavoursome - we especially loved the Three Delicacy soup. ❤️ The song and Noodle dance was very entertaining. Thank you for the very memorable experience I shared with my family.

I found this place to be super efficient and modern in its hot pot delivery. There are iPads to order from and some items come via robot. I wish we had ordered more things but we got confused with the order page and some things didn’t go through and by the time we realised we were quite full. The prawn paste here is an absolute must. It’s so good and very strongly prawn-tasting. We tried the dual soup base with mushroom in one side and chicken on the other. Both broths were good and not overly salted. We liked the free sides and fruit here which is a special touch that my kids really appreciated. I was disappointed that I wanted to see a noodle performance but I think the noodle man was busy on our day so we waited for a long time and had to cancel because we’d finished our meal and he still hadn’t come. Maybe next time.

Portion sizes were ok , customer service was outstanding , getting starting on ipad to order food was a complicated having to register and provide personal details was unnecessary and time consuming . Prebooking a table is highly recommended.

What an amazing night!!! We were served by Leon and he went well beyond in making our night memorable, the manager on duty Jane was so wonderful as well both taking their time to talk to us and explain everything , they made us feel so welcome and comfortable, our son is in the spectrum and the secret both made sure from the moment we walked in that he was happy. The food was delicious, a good variety and salad bar loved it, good way to try new flavours. Overall a great experience. Thank you Leon and Jane. Ps the secret codes are real you can recite them in English, definitely good for a laugh

Good service, a lot fun with entertainments and gifts.Beautiful hotpot and multiple choices for sauces and soups.Must do the booking before coming. If not, there’s a long wait.

HAIDILAO HOTPOT SUNNYBANK
Finally visited the legendary Haidilao. Food selections were a bit less than I expected, especially in the meat section. It was delicious overall, though I prefer Cantonese style hotpot. Really liked the self-serve condiments and side dishes station.Service was the best I have experienced in any Chinese restaurants. Staffs were very polite and friendly. They were constantly checking on you, taking away empty plates and tidying up your table. Some says this is over-service and I think this is what service should be.
