I recently got some LED bulbs replaced as a part of the government incentive program. I had the the best service. Mounika who managed my service, progress and follow up was really professional and helpful. Would highly recommend. Thanks you again :)

PART TWO:- (part one below)Below is a review I posted 2 days ago in which I state how cross I was and the disgusting manner in which I was treated by one of their telemarketers. After ringing and complaining about the telemarketing person and stipulating that I wanted to hear back from someone and what measures they would take if any.Well…..I want to say that I did hear back and today received a phone call today from ‘Management’ of Neighbours Connect!I was sincerely apologised to, I was told of the directions they would take to rectify this NOT happening again to anyone else, eg re training and such.I would like to reach out to Neighbours Connect and say “Thank you for taking my complaint seriously, for taking the time to call me, for listening to the initial call (by yourself and then with the telemarketer) and also for putting implements in place so this doesn’t happen again.”For their response and professionalism in their response I give them 5/FIVE STARS.I only feel this is the right thing to do updating my review as it can just take one bad apple to spoil a whole basket.Also I would like to thank Kay (who intially took my complaint) who was very respectful, professional and understanding and also Andrew who rang me with an apology and what strategies they were taking to make sure it wouldn’t happen again.Thanku for the call back, quick response to my complaint and measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.PART ONE:-I just had one of the most disrespectful and rude telemarketing calls.After I had said “no thank you I am not interested but Thankyou for calling”, this man then continued to just talk over me and treat me like an idiot because I would not give him an extra 2 minutes of my time. I said to him that he had no idea what was going on in my home at the moment and he agreed and then said but you surely can give me 2 more minutes?Seriously, when did the word NO or NO THANKYOU become anything other than No? It doesn’t mean maybe or I might change my mind if you just ignore me saying no, NO MEANS NO!I am so sick of telemarketing people thinking that they can just talk to you however they want.“If” I was ever going to get solar or anything as such I can tell you now that this man has ruined ANY business that I may have done.You can take that to the bank.

Neighbours Connect Door-to-Door rep Tara was extremely clear and efficient in helping organise our solar assessment.The consultant Jeff was punctual and friendly. He presented us with excellent solar options at a very competitive price. We really enjoyed his company and having a cuppa with him while he ran us through the numbers.We got our solar system installed a month ago and we are seeing bills less than 20 bucks now.As a sparky myself - who knows a good amount about the solar industry - I could not be more satisfied with the service Neighbours Connect provided. Efficiency, professional and quality service.Highly recommend

The relevance of this review is in the comments more than the stars.I dealt with 3 people. 1. Door knocker, he was a little hard to understand but he was polite. 2. Person who set the appointment on the phone was intimidating and aggressive, and I nearly didn't go ahead with the appointment. 3. The solar specialist was very helpful and honest. Our house wasn't suitable for panels (as an affordable and worthwhile option). If our circumstances change in the future, we would consider dealing with the solar company he works for. He gets 5 stars, and that's the only reason I gave 3 stars.

Salesman was very good, so wife signed up to get a quote for solar. Then got the guy ‘peter’ who came give quotation. He was not very friendly. Did no greeting but asked for my wife. I said i am the owner you can give me the quote. He refused and said both need to be here . When i asked why he could not explain. I have applied for loans with both not here but this guy cannot give a quote. Everyone is busy these days specially family. I did not go to a appointment because of this!!! Please don’t waste your time !!!!! For your own security never ever go with people who come and knock on your door.

Neighbours connect came to discuss the free LED drive being fun by the government. I was sceptical at first but after talking to the two people who attended and reading their paperwork thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. They scheduled a technician to attend the next day and I was all ready to refuse any hidden fees or catches. Instead what I got was a house full of free replacement LED lights which have reduced my energy bill quite a bit even considering I am now working from home. It was a quick and easy process and everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful. For anyone unsure of whether to believe this deal, Neighbours Connect couldn’t have been more open and reliable about this free service.

At first I thought this was some kind of scam. However I ended up on the 3rd contact deciding to go for it - best decision ever! Lights are fantastic, installer was fabulous and friendly. The whole process was quick and efficient, just wish I had done it sooner!

I had a mixed experience with this company. I'd be reluctant to recommend them to other people.I'll start with the positives. The door-to-door marketer (Jay) was polite, did a fantastic job of answering my questions, and he fitted the energy tracker without any hassles. Once the energy tracker was fitted, Jay asked if we'd be interested in seeing a solar panel consultant one evening, which we agreed to. This is where things started to go south.The solar panel consultant contacted us 15 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start to advise that they were stuck in traffic and that as a result they would no longer be coming. They suggested we arrange a new appointment with Neighbours Connect. For over a week I called Neighbours Connect each day to try and reschedule the appointment but I was unable to reach anyone (on one occasion I did get a voicemail asking me to call back, but when I did again there was no response). When I eventually reached someone on the phone over a week later (Kim), I was advised that Neighbours Connect were leaving the area the next day, and because they are a very popular company" they had no appointment slots available.In summary

Professional company..Great service… and the person i talked to was easy to talk to and got my upgrades for my home

Got my free LED’s and a new Energy Monitor so I can look at how much electricity I am using from an app on my phone. Its great that its free and the Neighbours Connect staff were very good to deal with. Recommend getting it done.
