Caring, competent drs, especially dr Thayer. Friendly, helpful staff

Never been to this practise before, was impressed by their willingness to help me out , as my GP was unavailable. Friendly staff made me feel very welcome .

I have had the same doctor for years, great service and practice and highly recommended

Reception staff very pleasant although it would have been nice to have introductory name exchange.... Medical Practitioner and patients failed to agree on acceptable treatment plans even though patients had far superior knowledge, qualifications and experience to the Junior Medico. Sadly, no patient/medico relationship could be formed and the patients had no option but to seek another practice for their Primary health care.

As usual. prompt, efficient and caring attention. What a great team.

EDIT!!If I could give less than 1 star I would, this is the biggest money hungry medical centre in Tasmania. Turning people away with no money refusing to bulk bill and refusing to see my son even though he is on my Medicare card and I am a patient there. And then to have some snot nose little kid telling me that she knows how I feel, I highly doubt it. I will never recommend this doctors surgery to anybody and I strongly, strongly urge people to never ever go here just a bunch of money hungry grubs who took an oath not to care for people but to take as much money as they can. Disgusting appalling bunch of people!After losing my job I can barely go to the doctors because I can't afford it, the nearest bulk billing doctor is an hour and a half away at New Norfolk. I got some tests done several months ago and received an email and text message to contact them regarding those results so I made an appointment and because I couldn't afford it I had to cancel. I kept receiving the urgent text messages so I called them to let them know that I was cancelling because I was unemployed and could not afford to come and was told that there was no way I could be bulk billed. People are correct in their views about the reception staff here, if they really cared at all they would have asked the doctor ( the doctor being the one who decides who they bulk bill) but they did not and then just brushed it off like an everyday thing. The fact that there are very few bulk billing doctors in Tasmania shows that there needs to be a bit of a shake up within the Tasmanian health care system. This is greed at it's finest, such an American attitude towards health. I think the only way I can get in there to find out those results is to just make an appointment and just not pay after I have been consulted and what a shame that people have to resort to that kind of thinking.

Despite being early at 9am I still had to wait until 9:30, appointment was short, less than 10min just to confirm everything is ok and prescribed medication the main option for now, yet I was billed standard $95 rate despite querying the billing and duration.

Absolutely appalled by the treatment of a family member at this practise !! The receptionist was rude and belittling, Leah you need to learn some bedside manner and and maybe work on your people skills.

Consultation was the 1st one with Dr.Thayer. I found him to be a very good Doctor & he is a warm & caring young one.

Skin cancer, enlarged prostate, anxiety issues, the full range of vaccinations, augmented with bulk billing for ancients over 65 as well as skilled, friendly, helpful staff. Can’t imagine a better health practice.
