Obi Obi Homestead

We stayed here for our wedding with our bridal party and close friends, and I'm so glad that we did. Such a beautiful house and part of the world, and Joy was so attentive, helpful and caring. She truly went above and beyond for our special day. Everyone loved their stay. Super comfy beds and lounge area, a fabulous fire, and very well equipped kitchen that even comes with fresh eggs from the 4 farm chooks! We can't wait to come back for a visit - will definitely have to stay longer next time.

Couldn't speak more highly of my stay. Joy was welcoming and attentive. The beds were super comfortable. Climate control was excellent. Kitchen - out of this world! More than I had expected and with all the food prep I was doing for the stay. The space was homely, with plenty of shared space for quiet time if needed. I loved the outdoors with space to stroll along the river and quiet time. There was great mobile reception for the location. Anything we needed, Joy did her best to provide. I'll be back for sure!

Our family were sad to leave Obi Obi Homestead today.......Over our 3 day stay we swam in the pool, fed the chooks, collected the eggs, said hello to the goats and cows, went on walks and saw ancient ghost gums, kayaked in Obi Obi Creek while keeping an eye out for the platypus, sat by the fire or we just relaxed in the extremely well appointed Homestead, surrounded by gorgeous views you just want to sit and watch.We also were spoiled to have had a private chef, Alan Dawes, come to the Homestead and cook an amazing six course meal one night!It was an absolute pleasure to meet Joy and Tony who own this beautiful place and who are superb hosts! This house is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need (and then some!). Joy is a fabulous host with so many thoughtful touches. Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

Such a beautiful place to be and stay!! Rented out the homestead as part of a wedding party and we were all taken such good care of! Joy looked after us so well and thought of everything. You can tell she takes great pride in what she does and really wants you to enjoy your stay. I can't praise Obi Obi Homestead, and Joy, enough. If I ever get the opportunity I will definitely be staying again. Thank-you again for a wonderful time!!

Joy and Tony are incredible hosts. The homestead is just amazing.We spent long evenings on the cool verandas, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of the farm and surrounding bush as the night set in.Days paddling and splashing in the Obi Obi river with the odd glimpse of a platypus.An incredibly peaceful and relaxing week for our extended family. Absolute cracker:)

Wow. Just wow. Spectacular service. Spectacular location. Spectacular views. We booked the homestead out for our wedding and it was simply amazing. Joy and Tony went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and comfortable. Such a unique experience to have a smaller group to share the wedding weekend with. I absolutely loved every minute of our stay - well, except for the leaving part. I highly recommend anyone wanting to enjoy some quiet and beautiful countryside to book a room at the homestead!

I highly recommend Obi Obi homestead to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful retreat from the busy urban world. My extended family of twelve people spent a three day weekend here celebrating my father-in-law's birthday and it was a fantastic experience. There are many comfortable bedrooms to allow everyone to enjoy privacy and large common areas to relax together in; the kitchen was also stocked with all the cooking tools you could ever require.The farm operates all around you and the full and flowing creek down the hill was perfect for swimming in the heat and racing in kayaks. Numerous bushwalks are available to keep active types busy and there are plentiful books, movies, wifi and music in the house for those who'd rather stay inside.Joy and Tony made us feel right at home, and even brought the goats around with some milk for the children in the group to feed them - such a treat and they loved the experience! Couldn't recommend Obi Obi more and we would love to return with family or friends!
