I'm giving you one, because I am unable to give you none.Minimalist it may be, but uncomfortable and cheap it shouldn't have to be.Gender friendly toilets doesn't necessarily mean that EVERYONE is a fan of dirty toilets. How ever do you expect female wedding guests to use these toilets after males have urinated all over the floor, the seats left up and filthy and then have to be wiped down before use? Don't use the word minimalist" as an excuse for stingy

We had a winter wedding at The Wool Mill and it was perfect!!!We had 150 guests for our ceremony and a sit down dinner provided by Refresh Hospitality (which was delicious).As it was in July, it was a cold and rainy day but that did not matter as everything in the Wool Mill was indoors. The heating was on and the venue stayed warm all night. We even took refuge there before the ceremony for photos indoors as it was raining.We had an on the day coordinator, Jemma who was an absolute star. She kept us running to schedule and kept us calm when we were getting overwhelmed in the excitement of the day.All the finest details were covered and all the styling items and extra drinks we brought were sent home with us. We are so grateful on how easy and stress free the day was.Also the Wool Mill provides security in their package so we had a security guard on the night and our wishing well was locked up after the ceremony for extra safety.The venue itself was clean, neat and spacious to comfortably fit all our guests. We had an epic dance floor too that was raging all night.We highly recommend this venue and the Nudo team as a wedding or event space. They had so many resources for us to choose from to dress up the venue and put on a great even such as a celebrant and florist. They were also happy for us to bring our own vendors of choice on board for the day such as our DJ and photographer.If you book the Wool Mill and the Nudo team you are guaranteed an easy, smooth and fabulous event!

I am so grateful that we had our wedding here! It was a perfect night and the atmosphere and ambience was perfect. We had imagined our wedding at other venues prior to picking the Wool Mill and we’re so glad that we didn’t go elsewhere! A big note for everyone, our dog of honour was allowed and made it down the aisle with us! A big thank you to Will, Kim, Paul and Callin for helping us on this wondrous journey. If you go with them, you will as happy and content as we do!

The most stunning venue - We knew from the second we walked in that this was going to be our wedding venue. The blank canvas really allows you to do whatever you want to bring the space to life. Between the florals and our bright colour palette our wedding was absolute perfection.

When reality struck and we realised we probably wouldn’t have a five year engagement, we began to look at wedding venues. The wineries were beautiful, the function rooms were functional, but Nudo was a different kettle of fish - in completely the best way. When we first inspected the site at the Wool Mill, there was still a whole lot of renovations to be done. To the point where that there were still piles of wool lying around, and a lot of industrial equipment. What we saw, though, was limitless potential in Will and co’s vision. Down a wonderful laneway, in a very unsuspecting location, this was a space with plenty of charm, championed by a team of professionals with an appetite for success. Will’s vision had us hooked from the first meeting - he is a dynamo of an individual, and someone who is honest, approachable and forthright. Not once were we ‘pushed’ or ‘strongly encouraged’ to do this or that, which is apparently rife in the wedding industry. The NUDO approach is that they help you build the wedding that you want, and they align all that is necessary every step of the way. We cherished being able to see the venue evolve into the pristine space it is now - a true testament to team-NUDO's determination. On the big day there were zero problems; and the one or two things that didn’t quite go to plan did not derail us in the slightest. Just over two months later and we’re still being complimented on what a wonderful wedding it was. Overall, it was a 12 month journey for us and NUDO, and we will absolutely cherish the memories we made not just on the day, but in the very exciting lead-up. Will and the team are slated for big things, without question. Enormous thanks to Will, Paul, Kim, Katie, Sam and Callin for their assistance, patience, and dedication to helping us create a wedding experience filled with love, happiness and GOOD TIMES. Firstly, we cannot thank the TEAM enough for their huge efforts to creating the most magical wedding day for Rhyss and I. The amount of dedication, passion and creative ideas to create a uniquely special day was second to none.The team have been a pleasure to work with, from the very moment we walked the venue, we fell head over heels with their vision to create a stress-free wedding experience for us both.Rhyss and I work crazy hours, and we really took advantage of the team who were able to create and assist with nearly every element of the entire wedding experience. From accommodation, flowers, celebrant, food and beverage, music, wedding cake, hair and make-up graphic design, printing, videographer and photography (plus lots more).... the Wool Mill is much more than a standard wedding venue, it's really an entire wedding experience.The Wool Mill's venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! Creating our dream wedding from such a blank canvas, I'm sure was no easy task, but the team was able to create absolute magic. The venue was transformed into a sea of flowers and luxe finishing’s, exactly how we had imagined it. Rhyss and I were really looking for a modern and uniquely Melbourne wedding venue that really stood out from other weddings we had been to, and the Wool Mill certainly delivered.There are really no words to describe the love we have for the team at Nudo events and the Wool Mill, you really made the day and the lead up exciting and stress-free. Rhyss and I certainly will never forget it!**Big shout out to Will, Paul, Kim, Katie, Callin and Murray !!! No words, just LOVE!!

The Wool Mill was the perfect location for our February wedding. We wanted a blank canvas, that had space for the ceremony & reception and The Wool Mill is exactly that. The lead up to the wedding was meticulously organised by Jasmine and the Nudo team, and the night ran so smoothly thanks to our coordinator Jess. The venue looked exactly like our brief, but even more magical, we were really blown away with the set up that the Anatomy of Flowers team executed! All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was (by the Refresh Hospitality team) and the amazing dance floor (thanks to DJ Christian at Hey Jack). All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and would highly recommend The Wool Mill to others.

Highly recommend the wool mill and the Goodsmiths (Nudo) planning team.I recently got married at the wool mill with 100 guests (though it could certainly fit more). In short, the venue is perfect. Stunning features, modern setup, spacious, incredible reception/event area, cosy cocktail area, intimate ceremony area and a great team putting the wedding together. We fell in love with it when we visited the first time and on our wedding day it was even better than we expected. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It was everything we wanted and more.Massive thanks to Katie our wool mill planner. We couldn't have done it without her. Her dedication and attention to detail was incredible giving us the wedding we wanted.Also a thanks to Jess and Chloe, our on the day coordinators who made sure everything ran smoothly giving us a stress free day.

We got married here in December 2022 and could not recommend the Wool Mill more. Being able to have the ceremony and reception all in one place was really important to us. The variety of spaces available inside the Wool Mill made this such a great venue for us, with guests moving into different spaces as the night unfolded. The spaces are all set up in such a way that they can easily be transformed into the look you're going for, however, even if left as is, they have a really chic minimalist vibe. We had so many compliments about the venue from our guests afterwards - everyone was raving about the location, drinks, food... everything! The team at the Wool Mill are super responsive and always happy to help and offer advice if needed. Huge shout out to Jasmine who helped us throughout the year with our planning and Jasmine and Amy who ensured our night went smoothly. Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for an inner city venue :)
