DMC contacted me when I asked for some quotes through a third party website. They were the only company out of 5 that I contacted who brought someone out to the property and spoke with us in-person at length (on a Saturday mind you) about what they could offer. The customer service was great from start to finish and even beyond so far. Solar has been up for a bit now and performing very well despite the cloudy and rainy weather on many of the days. I had a small issue I ran into when it came to final payment (credit card issue) and they were very accommodating and have been in contact with me to follow up even after taking final payment. I’d definitely recommend DMC and am already planning to recommend some friends and family who will hopefully be moving into new properties in the next 6-12 months.

We had 6 quotes for our property, and from the first conversation with Sue we were happy with DMC solar. They stood out above the others but we went with a cheaper quote for the same gear by nearly $2000.Unfortunately, when the other company got to our home on the morning of installation they demanded nearly $3000 more for extras which were unforeseen, despite the sales person telling us it was totally inclusive even by email.We forfeited our deposit and got DMC back who ended being cheaper and much better to deal with. Very happy with the final result.

I suggest asking for a itemized quote or price breakdown before going ahead with this company.Can provide documented email exchange and evidence of site visit on the 29/11/2021 from this company verifying me as a legitimate customer.All I am saying is that they would not give me an itemised quote or price breakdown of the services they offered.They were suggesting a particular panel over another and claimed it was more efficient but more expensive. I asked for a price comparison and they refused to give me the prices of the different panels.That's not how the industry works" and "you don't ask for a price breakdown from a restaurant" and "it's just a package deal" were the responses I received.Hard to decide on what order when the Labor

Mid last year, I was musing over my power bill. I was concerned that my 8 panels were not producing any real power savings. My feed in tariff was only giving me about $10.00 of discount per quarter. So, with that in mind, I decided to look into improving my situation!I contacted DMC Electrical & Energy to have someone come to my house and give me advice. A day later, Liam from DMC came and looked over my situation. We walked around the house, looking at roof space and so on. Following the walk around, Liam came inside and discussed with me options that were open to me. In addition to this, he did a virtual reality overlay of my house, using Google Maps. With the virtual reality tour, Liam showed me how I could put a new solar system in, with an additional 21 panels!Following my commitment to purchase a new system, about two days later, a DMC Electrical & Energy crew turned up to install the new system. It took the boys about three hours to install the panels and mount/connect the box on the wall. The system was complete and passed inspection with flying colours. I now get a very small bill, if anything at all, which pleases me greatly.Since the installation, I've received two power bills from my electricity provider. Unfortunately, the feed in tariff was set at 4 cents per/kWh, so the rebate per quarter was still very low. To this end, I emailed Alex Dempsey, the CEO of DMC Electrical & Energy to discuss my concerns. Alex looked at my latest power bill and emailed me back, advising me to contact my energy provider and request a better plan. So - I did what he suggested. After a bit of haggling I am now on 15 cents per/kWh feed in tariff. OUTSTANDING work by Alex at DMC for perusing my bill and providing me with great advice. I will now, from what I can ascertain, pay a very tiny bill, or have no bill at all.I cannot emphasise enough, the high level of honesty, trustworthiness, professionalism and brilliant service. The entire team at DMC were just the best solar installers you could find - BAR NONE! I would strongly advise anyone who is considering getting solar panels to go straight to DMC. The level of service is like that from decades ago. Hard working staff who thrive to make sure that the process is done properly, cleanly and meets all Government guidelines, without hesitation or reservation. And, I must say, their followup service is just outstanding!! You would find it very hard to find a contractor with the same level of dedication and knowledge as DMC has.Thank you DMC Electrical & Energy for providing me with absolutely the best solar system money can buy. You have assisted me from the time Liam came out to quote the job, installers came out to do a complete installation and any after installation questions or assistance. I hope you do well as your entire ethos is brilliant~~

Love working for this company. Your solar will be installed by our own employed Licenced electricians and roofers. Great peace of mind that my own power bill this summer was $89 for the summer quarter with a pool and 2 aircon units running full time. Couldn’t be happier.

Terrible company to deal with. Once they get your money they don't care. Had a solar system installed and requested my fuse box get upgraded as part of it. Solar install was completed late and fuse box upgrade was not completed at all. Old fuse box has about 6 switches in it and the new one has 3.. that don't do anything. Can switch them off and power is still on.. new box is there but all the old fuses are still in use. Have called multiple times and get the same message someone will call you back. And no one ever does. Call them up and they say we tried calling and yet no missed calls. Wrote a bad review previously and was called up and told they would remedy it if I removed review which I did and got the run around again. Was actually threatened that they would take action against me for bad review. Do not use this company. And as you can see from the response more lies.. never been out once to check.. as for photos I'm not disputing you put a box on the wall.. I'm not even disputing the solar install as that was fine as well. It's just that box doesn't do anything all the old fuses are still controlling the power. And since this is the only 1star review I've ever given more lies no companies have contacted you about taking action.

Okay it's time to give DMC Electrical and Energy a review. Approximately early to mid Jan 2023 we decided to research the removal of our 12yo 3.6kW solar system that was still functional (previous owners were on the Tax Payer funded/subsidised $0.51 FIT) lucky them and upgrade to a larger system!We decided to get at least 3 x quotes for the largest system possible using only our north facing roof space.Inger DMC's sales rep/manager came out to us within a day or two of us making contact with them. Inger was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable and said we could fit a 9.5kW system based on our roof space and that the panels would be the 500kW versus the smaller 415kW panel which is the norm for most domestic installs. The 500kW panels are in the main used for larger commercial installs and by installingtge larger 500kW panels we would get more kWs. We were okay with this approach and having a low set brick/tile home with good access the installers would not have as much trouble getting the larger and heavier 500kW panels in place. DMC also advised us about maximising day time power usage which included taking our HWS and pool pump off the off peak tariff.Fast forward to today our new solar system has been in place for 3 weeks and it's working great and at this stage we cannot fault DMC's services from start to finish and highly recommend them.

Had DMC Electrical out to help replace my 9 year old system. It has been replaced with a 10kw system. The consultant Inger was by far the most knowledgeable with regards to products and efficiency. The installers were very professional, great to be dealing with an in-house local team.Definitely recommend this company for your solar needs.
