1934 Qantas Hangar
Great place and it was free to visit. Lots of old cars and motorcycles. It's a working shop so there are machines and things running and the people inside are enthusiasts working on there own things. I went because it's the hanger from ww2 that quantas kept the catalinas in. There is some damage from the bombings visible on this building.

Great old school rustic feel with a good collection of vehicles and equipment. I was hosted by Mike Wright of the Enthusiasts Club who couldn't have been more helpful with my questions about (my former) 54 Squadron RAF flying Spitfires from here in WWII.

Free entry although they deserve a small entry donation. Was once the Qantas Hangar now houses some vintage vehicles from local car enthusiasts.Worth a quick visit.

Great place to go and have a look at all the old tools and machinery. A few old cars and bikes also. Nice bunch of blokes full of information. See if you can find the bullet holes in the hanger from the Japanese attack on Darwin in 1942.

This is an interesting display of cars, trucks, and other vehicles in a workshop environment.

Absolutely amazing! A total visual assault in the best possible way. So many things to look at and a eclectic collection of cars, bikes, tools, machines and all manner of other stuff. Very friendly volunteers run the place and admission was free however donations are encouraged.

Chock full of great antiquities from the MVEC. The hangar has damage from WWII so keep an eye out for orange paint and see the sheer size of the holes!Friendly chaps hanging out who are keen to give you more information if you like a chat. Merchandise available and donation boxes

Best kept secret in the NT. Fabulous use of historic hangar by the Motor Vehicle Enthusiasts Club. A museum with character and soul!
