Amazing community, the teachers here are all so passionate and are incredibly kind, and . Been going here for around three years and I am still eager and excited for every lesson. This school not only teaches you self defence, but also keeps you fit, and helps develop social skills and confidence, for all people and martial artists alike. Highly recommend to everyone, and I hope to be able to achieve my black belt here :)

At 58 years of age, I decided to try something new. Naturally I was hesitant and concerned at first, as I thought I would be too old and slow to learn a new skill. Maybe I would hold up the class.However, this was not the case. I was made to feel welcome by everyone, both instructors and students alike from day one!There were times I needed to ask a few questions on how to properly execute a particular movement, because I just didn't get it the first time round. What really impressed me was the head Instructor himself, Sensei Ben, stopped what he was doing, and took the extra time required for me to learn it properly.He made me feel important. He really cares about every single student, young or old.Everyone is made to feel like this because they care about your progress individually.It's fun there too. Great, friendly and respectful atmosphere.If you lack confidence, are thinking about trying something positive for yourself and looking to get fitter at the same time, I highly recommend giving this place a go. You won't look back!

If you're looking for a family friendly, all inclusive and fun Karate Academy, I highly recommend AKA in Botany. The teachers are super friendly and every class is fun and a great workout.

AKA family has always been genuinely support and build my son's confidence in himself. We have been with AKA Sydney since mid 2019 and could not be happier with how Ben and team were able to provide us with trainings even during pandemi back in 2020 and 2021. I really recommend AKA Sydney for your child to start learning karate.

Such an amazing organisation. My son has loved coming to each lesson. The instructors are very professional, skilled, encouraging, and genuinely care about their students. Feels like being part of a great community.

This place is amazing! All the teachers are so supportive, my kids have not just learned karate, but discipline, kindness and they’re having fun at the same time! Both of my kids are in their purple belts now and they’re enjoying their karate even more! We don’t live in the area anymore, but because we love this place, we are staying with them and will continue until my kids have their black belts.

Our daughter has really loved the classes. The staff were very caring, patient, and encouraged her to come out of her shell. Sensei Ben is very approachable, generous and always there offering support and encouragement. A great community!

This is such a great Karate Academy.My granddaughter started in 2021 and was a bit nervous at first but in no time with the care and support from Sensei Ben and all the instructors she was thriving and loving her classes. At the beginning of 2022 she had to stop classes as we moved out of the area and it was just too far to travel, we looked around for another school but could not find anything to the same standard as AKA Botany.I knew she really wanted to continue with Karate lessons so i decided to do the commute as I think it is well worth it for quality training.I highly recommend AKA Botany to anyone thinking of taking up Martial Arts..
