IGA Anglesea

It's not on the front but tucked away around the back of the shops. Angle parking on the street frontage. Staff were friendly. Got most of what we wanted. Open to 7pm.

Don’t know how to talk to people in a calm manner, very rude. Only the old people who work there though, the young people are nice. One elderly woman who seemed to be in a darker IGA jumper with long grey hair is the worst human being you will ever come across. Doesn’t know how to be a decent human being. Don’t go here if you love dogs, they hate them.

You can buy virtually anything you need. Perfectly situated for nearby tourist parks. However, prices are for tourists. So better bring bulk of the supplies from your home Coles or woollies

One of the best igas, great produce friendly service etc. Always a great stop over for supplies if your staying on the surf coast a+++

OUTRAGEOUS PRICES. Warning ⚠️I live close to an IGA supermarket and often shop there as the prices are OK compared to the big supermarkets. But this IGA is absolutely price gauging at its best. The owner should be ashamed to charge such excessive prices for simple items.The pizzas in the deli area are double the price for the same pizza where I Iive.This is unacceptable. Just because this is the only supermarket in Anglesea, the owner charges high prices..ITS SIMPLY CALLED GREED!!!There is an Aldi's 10 minutes away.Do not shop here.. Its an absolute RIP OFF""

Great med size supermarket. Friendly staff and good service. Bring your own bag/basket as they zero plastic bags ( makes them extra better).

Too expensive and a very limited range. But the staff were nice.

We visited as a family of six on our holiday to do our entire weekly shop for 5 adults and 1 teenager. The first thing we saw was the price of avocados ‘price reduction, 2 for $10’. We’d just been to Torquey for ice cream and went to Safeway there where they were $2.90ea, but wanted to visit Anglesea to look around before going back to the accomodation in Bellbrae for our first night, so we figured it better to shop in Anglesea.Don't underestimate people’s refusal to be ripped off. We quite happily drove right back to Torquay to fill two trolleys with groceries. It’s the principal of knowing better, and spending our money where prices are realistic. For the remainder if the week, any groceries were from Torquay.Over pricing doesn’t just lose you customers, but it reduces tourists returning to look at other shops in Anglesea too.IGA often brags about their buying power, cutting out the middle men, and being the people’s choice for shopping, so if they can’t buy at a reasonable price, they simply need to subsidise such things to maintain a consistent or at least competitive market. These weren’t organic and had the same stickers as the Safeway ones we bought. Not good IGA!This was Friday 14th Jan 2023

Nice people but you pay and I mean pay for the products they sell. Talking to locals a lot get delivery from other supermarkets. I know it’s good to shop local and there is no other option once you are there other than a 30 minute drive but maybe plan ahead.
