Spicers Hidden Vale

We couldn't recommend Spicers Hidden Vale more highly. We have an excellent experience and will definitely be returning. Often when staying in luxury accommodation the expectation of premium customer service isn't always met. This was exceeded by the entire team at Spicers Hidden Vale and why we enjoyed our stay so much. The property, the rooms, the food, the drinks and the experiences were outstanding. The staff were so attentive, caring and like a family themselves which was really felt but as as guests of the hotel. Thank you to Jake, Adam, Josh, Ross, Caitlin, Sebastian, Lena and Myriam for looking after us so well and for making this a memorable experience.

Wonderful place! Great garden, rooms and restaurant. Wonderful mountain biking. We took our late-teen children and parents in their late 80s. There was something for everyone. We went biking and my parents had an ATV ride. Then we all adored the amazing food at the end of the day.

We were lucky enough to enjoy a relaxing two night stay for my birthday with our 3 children. By the end of our trip they didn't want to leave! It's a very child friendly resort with plenty of space and activities to keep them happy! There's a playground, beautiful tree swing, garden, tennis court, pool and opportunities to feed the farm animals. There's a calm, serene and cozy atmosphere to the whole property. The main dining and lounge area is luxurious and extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the food was great. Thank you Spicers Hidden Vale for having us! We hope to visit again soon!

Attended a conference so didn't stay in the rooms so can't rate these.Outstanding location - peaceful, quiet and relaxing.The most amazing food & service. Was made to feel very welcome even though only there for the day.Walking tracks, mountain bike trails, pool & tennis court.

We just had dinner. Chefs selection was a great and easy way to have dinner. Tina our host, made the night very enjoyable.Easy pace for dinner and the wine add on was worth the experience.Fire place was a nice way to end the meal enjoying a couple extra drinks.

Really liked my weekend here.It's the sort of place you could go with an intergenerational group.Rooms are comfortable with excellent views.Sufficient E-charge bays too.The staff really make this place. They seemed to enjoy their jobs, the wait staff, housekeeping and even the chefs!Talking of food, the food was excellent overall, although it's not a very extensive menu and after a few days you might find it repetitive. We had several outstanding meals. Kangaroo tartare Yum!!Only one annoyance was when I ordered Sunday lunch from the Barn and it was cool. Nobody likes cold soggy chips!

We went to the restaurant for a 50th birthday lunch with a small group of friends and had the loveliest time. The staff were great. Very friendly, very professional and the food was amazing. Yes it was a little pricey but you get what you paid for. Beautiful wines, beautiful atmosphere. We had a little stroll around the ground afterwards and everything looked wonderful. We will definitely go back there for a special meal.

Everything about this place is exceptional!! The views, the food, the rooms and especially the staff :) In late 2022 my friend decided to add a 'vow renewal/wedding re-do' to their Christmas trip home to Oz (they got married during covid times in the UK) and with a super short lead time Spicers Hidden Vale was the answer to their day.From multiple video chats at odd hours, to liaising with suppliers, to swinging into action on the day with a wet weather plan, Maddy and the Spicers team were incredible.For context - events is my job and my passion so I have seen it all when it comes to weddings and as the only bridesmaid within 2400km I was on the ground for the planning.Spicers embodied the ideal of 'nothing is too hard' and every single staff member on site was friendly, helpful and happy (and I do mean every one of them... a chef walking by took a bag of rubbish off my hands and the groundskeeper was called in to investigate hanging a pinata!).I will sing the praises of this team for years to come - the day was everything the couple had hoped for and more and from a professional perspective it was a dream. And as a guest?... It was just the most wonderful few days and a delightful and fun wedding.There is so much more, but I think you get the idea - Thank you again Maddy for being amazing at what you do (and especially for dashing back to my room to get my flats when my feet gave out! :)

We went there for a quick lunch. The staff were absolutely lovely and very professional. The grounds and facilities look nice with a good view and the restaurant looks beautiful. From what I understand from the website, its pretty pricey to stay here. That said, from our experience, I would definitely recommend it as a great place to dine for a special occasion.

On Thursday, June 15th some friends and I celebrated the 36th year of my being. To celebrate this achievement, I treated myself to a dining experience that is quite new to me, 'Supper Club by Homage'. Given the modest pricing, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but found myself quite content. Immediately upon entering the open-air dining room, I was welcomed by roaring braziers and gas heaters, which paired with festoon lighting and an open-fire kitchen warmed my soul. The first course got me off on the right foot being a warm potato and leek soup surrounding a fiery kick of nduja. This teamed with a delightful flatbread to mop up any leftovers really hit the spot. The experience was all that one would expect from the Spicers brand, including magnum wine service by warm and attentive staff. We stayed till the very end, sipping Shiraz around the fire.
