Alex is absolutely amazing with his work. He did the pergola and it looks fantastic. Very detailed and neat work on the timbers floors and the fence. He completed the work in a timely manner as well. Would recommend him for anyone that is looking for a quality carpentry!

I’ve been searching for my working desk for a while and realized I didn’t want any factory stuff. somehow I walked past the north shore carpentry sign and got his number at the beginning I’m quite nervous coz this is a small job compared to what he did previously how ever after our phone call he said yes without any hesitation. I got a beautiful minimalistic style working desk made from one piece of hardwood timber and a perfect fit with my window views. Highly recommended *Thanks again Alex. you made my day !!

When my neighbour decided to have a fence built to enclose his front yard for his young children I was able to see the quality, design and build by Alex. Both my neighbour and I were so impressed that we decided to engage Alex to replace our adjoining fence. Alex was able to provide advice on the materials used for each side of our fence and we are so thrilled with how our fence turned out. We also engaged Alex to repair our outdoor timber ceiling on our balcony for a fraction of the cost quoted by another carpenter and it looks brand new. Alex also provided other carpentry tasks we had put off over Covid and we are very satisfied with the results.We have no hesitation in recommending Alex for all your carpentry needs since he is now our carpenter of choice for the future.

Alex is an excellent carpenter, ably assisted by Johnno. They rebuilt our ageing deck, pergola and carport. These rebuilds are better than the originals in that Alex has improved the water resistance so the structures will have longer lives without rot. Alex gave us good design suggestions for the deck and we are very happy with the results.Alex has also completed a number of smaller home maintenance jobs including fixing a damaged stair, and replacing rotted barge boards on the roof.He is courteous, prompt and professional and takes pride in his work. Fantastic carpentry work completed by North Shore Carpentry and Renovations, a Lane Cove based business. Jonathon trimmed overhead cabinets above a new fridge to suit the reduced cavity height and reinstalled the cabinets. I highly recommend this local business for carpentry work and I will certainly use them again for future work. I am a very happy customer.

Alex is amazing!Our home was in desperate need of renovation. He restored our balcony upstairs and our verandah downstairs. He custom built an outdoor storage cabinet that has transformed our house. He used materials that are amazing and will withstand the elements for a long time with minimum maintenance.The best part about having Alex around is he’s an extension of your daily life!He’s easygoing, empathetic and totally obsessed with perfect outcomes. With left over materials he made us 2 new gates and changed our house dramatically. He’s an amazing craftsman and he’s a wonderful guy. He knows he hasn’t seen the last of us!!We love him!!
