What I love most about Jim is the speed at which things get done! AND HE TURNS UP!Messages are returned instantly, even after hours. Jobs are booked in and completed very quickly, so quickly in fact, when he told me one time it was “done” I thought he was referring to booking in the job with the owner, no… the job itself was completed. Nothing is a hassle, and his pricing is cheaper then most others (maybe all). Definitely glad I’ve found Jim, will be using him for all my work going forward.

After calling 4-5 different electricians, and getting told about wait times, vague answers, massive costs and more I was passed the details for Jim Bird Electrical.I required what I would call a very quick, basic installation in a small room upgrade I was doing - piggybacking off an existing socket with 2 lights, 3 switches and an outdoor powerpoint.Many electricians told me we would need to remove roof panels, upgrade wiring, and more, all with huge wait times.Jim and his team were extremely professional, and answered our initial online enquiry within half an hour.Jim discussed different options with me and came to a solution that suited our needs and our budget.After less than 24 hours of communication we had settled on a quote and Jim was there to begin the job.At all times, Jim kept us in the loop with what was happening, the times he would be there, accurate costs and more.Within 3 days of our initial enquiry our electrical installation had been fully installed and completed.Other electrical companies in the area had given us quotes of triple what Jim quoted, and told us the wait would be over 1 month, Jim did the quote, the site inspection and the completed work in 3 DAYS.The final workmanship and quality of the fitout is stunning – I sent Jim some visual references when we were initially quoting and the job was well and truly better than what we were expecting with high quality components.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jim and his team to ANYONE looking for an electrical job or quotation – I guarantee you will be well informed, well looked after, and 1000% happy with the result.
