Beemo San Remo

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. No acknowledgement when you walk into the store and if you speak to the woman at the counter she won’t even look up if she’s doing something. So so rude. Maybe you should learn how to be polite, I was living in San Remo but was treated like a tourist (not an excuse) as it’s obvious the whole town doesn’t like newbies even though tourism funds the whole place.

Treated very poorly by staff. She made rude comments regarding our age to another woman in the store. Very unprofessional.

coming into a hippie shop you’d expect the the staff to be nice and welcoming but absolutely not. The woman is incredibly rude the 4-5 times I’ve been in here and my mum has said the same thing. She makes very judgy and snide comments, absolutely should not be working in a retail store, won’t be back again.

It's a holiday/family tradition to visit Beemo each year. My daughter and I always find plenty of unique, interesting items to choose from, in fact there's so much variety it's always a struggle to narrow it down!!The lady who owns it has always been lovely, very welcoming and polite-friendly.

Staff member made unprovoked rude comments about me aloud to another woman in the store regarding me being on my phone while I was waiting for my mum. Extremely unprofessional.

Amazing shop, great service. I go twice a year and always find unique gifts for myself and others.

I recall this incident Ivy. And I truly apologise .I was thoroughly inbaristed and felt very uncomfortable with that conversation myself. But as you would understand unfortunately I can not control customer conversations. I realy can't apologise enough Ivy and hope you can accept my apology regards Glynis Price

I absolutely love San Remo and spend a lot of time there and when I do, I love to visit all the shops, including this one. Having been in this shop several times I’ve noticed the lady behind the counter can be rather rude at times. I’ve heard comments about “those tourists” coming to San Remo which sounded to me like they were an inconvenience.. and there’s been other times when she’s made snide comments about non local people (my friends) whilst they were in the shop to other locals. I’m providing this review in the hope that the lady behind the counter takes on this feedback because it really is a lovely shop and it’s such a shame for people to avoid it because of her/your attitude towards non local people. I’m a “tourist”, albeit from Melbourne and have spent quite a bit of money in this shop, as well as the other shops in San Remo and find it incredibly rude to be treated that way.
