All of our dishes were way to sweet that we couldn’t finish it. I remember once having good decent spicy papaya here. Today was a big disappointment and a waste of money with most of our dishes In the bin. Cook like you are cooking for Thai ppl not for westerners. Not all westerners like sweet food - most do not. Check out louder louder in the Northbridge if you want inspiration.

If you know of a more authentic Thai restaurant in Perth than Tae Thai, please let me know. It's literally a Bangkok family restaurant transplanted in Perth. The food is original yummy Thai taste, not one of the very sweet stuff adjusted to local taste. Portions are huge and prices reasonable. If I live nearer to this place, illI probably come once a week. Very very delicious.

Scammed .... Terrible service , ordered over the phone and Paid with credit card. Our order never arrived left us all hungry including children. Tried to call the restaurant numerous times and they never answered phone just rang out .Ha e called Bank to dispute charges ..Beware no customer service .

Food was overall very sweet... even Tom Yum soup was sweet. Couldn't tasty much spices from the food. Green Curry was too sweet... But Pad Thai was delicious.- Complimentary prawn crackers.- Friendly staff- Only 1 high chair is available- Parking area

Great food and great staff except for the receptionist who took my order over the phone. She was rude and didn’t show any interest through the phone call. I went to pick up the order and unfortunately she was not there and spoke to the Thai staff who I assume are the owners and said she is not a representation of your business as I know the Thai people are very hospitable people and she should be lucky she has a job. The management staff knew this was an ongoing issue. Advised that she’s not good for their family business if she continues to be arrogant over the phone. I would’ve scored 5 star bar the caller taking food orders.

Casual, simple suburban style, plenty of take-aways coming and going. Service prompt. Food? Spring rolls fresh and tasty, green curry tasted overblown with some weird un-natural spices, massaman curry was padded out with excess coconut milk and other fillers. $60 for two. Food not up to standard.

Terrible, ordered 4 items, only received 3, rice seems to be a no brainer, but that’s the item missed. The Uber delivery driver dropped the order on the road and then all he wanted to do was leave and not take any responsibility. I rang the restaurant and they said once it left it was no longer their problem.

Authentic Thai food. Green curry was amazing, curry puffs average and the Tom Yum Soup a little sour; yet still sufficiently pleasant. Will come back.

At Thai Tae Restaurant! The food is always simply delicious, with a great variety of traditional Thai dishes that were bursting with flavor. Mostly I do take away, but, the restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I  recommend trying all their dishes. Thai Tae is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai food in the area.I am a regular visitor""

Curries a little on the sweeter side but overall nice and healthy. Should introduce spicy levels like other Thai restaurants.
