We were promised the earth when we leased our house through Bartons. When our tenants left, we were left with $2,000 of damage, and told that the tenants were unhappy because we sold our house. Sorry, but that's what happens when you rent, you sometimes need to move. Our house was left filthy and damaged and our gardens and lawns were overgrow and dead in various places as well as household rubbish dumped in garden beds. What kind of property manager allows that? Very unprofessional.

We made the decision to engage Mark Barton to sell our home as we were impressed with his professionalism , local knowledge gained from years of being a Blue Mountains businessman and resident and the fact that he runs an independent agency with a small personal team and could dedicate his time and expertise to the marketing of our home . From the start the marketing was well implemented and executed with professional photography , large photosigns , colour brochures and standout listing on the internet sites . But the real test came once we started the open houses . Mark was out in the field the day prior making sure directional signage was on the main road , visiting us with style tips and then on the day he was prompt and ready for business . After the open house we always got written reports as to feedback and customer responses from his followup . Throughout the campaign Mark communicated with us every day with updates etc and we never had to chase Mark once about anything . Finally dealing with Bartons Real Estate was an excellent experience and I would recommend any homeowner that wants that individual personal approach and optimum final result to give them a go .
