I would put more than 5 stars rating for our latest experience with QCHF if there is more stars. We have been speaking to the private health insurance team lately to work out a plan that would suit our cover and budget. We have been going backward and forward to them numerous time providing information we gathered from other health fund providers. During the process, the service we received from private health fund team has been excellent and helpful to our enquiries. Our special compliment goes to Remmy Moore; Health Fund Consultant who has provided us the highest level of customer service. She has gone the extra mile at every stage attentive to answering all our questions, providing extra details and comparison, carrying out her outmost patience to help us with our decision. We now have a cover we are happy with. Thank you very much.

Great premiums, inclusions etc. no fuss rebates, and they provide incredibly quick & helpful service every single time - they truly deliver a customer experience like 'the good old days'. Other private health funds do not compare to QCH. I'll be with them for a long time.

I moved to Queensland Country Health Fund 18 months ago and cannot praise them enough. They are interested in us as people and our health requirements. I have recently had shoulder surgery and they rang to offer additional services to make sure my fitness returned as quickly as possible. 10 points......They have my loyalty! Highly recommended! And they were cheaper than my previous provider.

I went to the dentist, so is that ever good?!! However QCDental are great, the dentist and hygienist are wonderful, and they make going to the dentist so much less stressful. All staff are very caring, friendly and professional.

I have had private health insurance for 30 years, I was with one fund for decades and then changed over to QCHF and they are by far the WORST health fund I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service.We are in a unprecedented pandemic, banks, telcos, councils are all bending over backwards trying to assist people and in comparison QCHF swoops in like a vulture to close members accounts as fast as they can (and even earlier than their own rules state they can). I am truly disgusted. I like many others have lost my employment due to the COVID pandemic and I have been dealing with Centrelink and contacting heaps of other entities, re loans, mortgages, credit cards, council rates, car rego etc and every single one of them have bent over backwards and waived late fees/penalties and given extra time for payments or put repayments on hold, in comparison QCHF acted to close my account at 7.38am on the first business day after a 3 day long weekend before I was able to contact them.I have since discovered tucked away on their website that people experiencing financial stress due to the COVID 19 were eligible for an assistance package. I checked and not ONCE in any of the texts or emails received regarding my overdue account was this mentioned, not even ONCE, it is obvious they didn't want to make it known to customers that financial assistance was available. I actually looked on their website ages ago when I heard BUPA and HCF and basically every other health fund were waiving fees to see if there was any mention of QCHF doing anything similar but found nothing at the time. BUPA and HCF both had (and still have) huge, very prominent sections of the front page of their websites about financial hardship relief for customers, you can't miss it, in comparison QCHF have a little blurb about an assistance package tucked away if you scroll way down their website where it is not prominently seen, they have a section that simply says COVID-19 what you need to know". Most people would have thought it was just general info about the actual virus like I did. QCHF actively sent out text messages to customers spruiking how they were delaying their yearly policy price rises but no text message was sent out to customers letting them know that if they are suffering financial hardship there was an assistance package available.I sent a written complaint and got a call from their "Customer Experience Officer" (even though I specifically asked for a response in writing) who gave me a lecture for not contacting them earlier and basically just that is was too bad

QCHF used to give generous rebates on extras - those days just evaporated with the takeover by HBF.Returns on dental and podiatry has plummeted since QCHF has been bought by HBF ... ditching them asap and returning to a smaller private health fund.I'd suggest shopping around ASAP!!

These guys are great. The premiums are fair, and the rebates good and paid promptly without any fuss. Our previous health provider had lots of hidden exclusions, but we haven't found any yet with QCHF. The Choice magazine health provider tool recommended QCHF for our particular profile - medium hospital plus some extras. I wish I had changed years ago.

QCHF has been amazing looking after my husband and his back. Three surgeries and many allied health services and they have never queried or refused his needs. They even have him a personal support nurse he could call any time. We refer people to QCHF all the time due to this. They all tell me it's the best change they made.This morning I received an email telling me QCHF were reimbursing $162 of my membership fees as they had made more profit than expected and wanted to give it back to the members. I have NEVER been given money back from a company before, just because they could. Thank you QCHF!I just hope your service and support remains as good now you have been bought out by one of the 'big' guys. Keeping my fingers crossed x

I am very disgusted to think my whole family have been in QCHF for so many years and my granddaughter with needing to see a dentist, is unable asthey only cover full cover dentist with their practice in Mackay twice a month.Very wrong.My son is now looking for a health fund that cares.

After going thru the trauma and stress of having cancer remove. The claims process and dealing with a staff member in the Townsville branch has been worse than the disease itself. Over 6 months now and still have not been reimbursed fully.
