Worth a visit. The rock formation/layers that produced the overhang is so interesting.Plus it's a waterfall... how can you go wrong (ok... if there is a drought and it hasn't rained, that could be a problem).

Definitely visit this! I hadn’t even heard of Wannon Falls tbh. We saw this in full flow since the floods and rainfall of late 2022. Really stunning to see, looking at other photos it looks beautiful even if it’s not as heavy flow.. but definitely lovely to see winter or spring. We went cup weekend time. We did this on the way from Barossa to Melbourne… it would also be great if you’re on a trip at the Grampians as that’s 45 mins away. Also Nigretta falls is about 5 mins drive away, go see that too!

Phenomenal falls to view... these and Nigretta Falls are both beautiful and easy to get to, with the viewing platforms being a few steps from the car parks. Highly recommend... maybe its because of all the rain lately, but both falls were full on - absolutely beautiful!

Despite not being the volume of water previously seen in the last 12 months the falls were an absolute surprise given the rolling countryside. Take the 5 minute detour and the 2 minute walk and see an awesome falls.

Beautiful waterfall with free camping site but small. Compost toilet, fire allow on limited spots. We stay two nights, and each time local police come to check around which is good

Lovely place to visit. Picnic area with BBQs, easy access to view the falls and short walk takes you further up river.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot for overnight camping. Clean and tidy. We didn't use the toilets as we have our own in our caravan, so can't comment on that. Lovely waterfall.

I wish there was more water when we visited but some water is better than none. Looked amazing from the air and can’t wait to one day see it from the ground

A really nice peaceful place to visit. The falls themselves is quite awesome however can only be viewed from a lookout and that's as close as you can get to it but overall is a very pretty falls. There are areas above where you can get in the water for a swim and picnic areas and public toilet facilities as well which is really great.

There's a community group that look after this area I just want to say thanks. It's also nice the big oval for the kangaroos to have a safe place as well. Thanks to the fellow for bringing over the Pinewood for the campfire. No matter what anyone says This is encouraging bringing in people into an area even if they're not paying for accommodation in a caravan park that's only 5% of the money that they actually spend in the local community.I understand they're doing update sheds to stop the wind that's really nice but I still think you maintain that mountain cottage fill with a beautiful red gum seat rather than replace them.Timber has a nice feel whereas I've seen tables replaced in other parts with aluminium or plastic benches and they're really cold to sit on.Anyway I just want to put forward a vote for keeping the old seats there's nothing wrong with them.I noticed in the bin it's got hips and heaps of those recycled $0.10 coin cans and bottles and things One of those big mesh depositories are good because you can see all the cans and people don't just jump rubbish in them This would be a good way to do something environmentally conscious and raise a few bucks at the same time. The nice fella Brian and his lovely wife Heather mentioned there were thoughts to open up the football field I kind of like it nice and open the kangaroos love it too but if you did want to do it and you were concerned about hoons doing burnouts and getting in there and that sort of thing what you need to do is put pine stump logs like you've got around the campground making a driveway in and then surrounding areas for campsites This way you won't get any hoons.
