As soon as I stepped into the store an older lady working there shouted across the store I had to be careful with my baby carrier in a condescending voice, as they had accidents there previously. I appreciated her yelling that and waking my baby, walked out without buying anything.

Purchased over 500 dollars of supplies as a gift for my sister. Margaret, who I can see plenty of for, was so rude and patronising that I neglected to process the points for my transaction as I was so insulted by the experience. I regret not leaving immediately and making my purchase where it is valued.

I really wanted to support this place but I was appalled by how rude the service was. I have a valid, legal medical exemption from wearing a mask and both the lady behind the till and customer ganged up on me. Disgustingly discriminatory, a violation of basic, universal human rights and zero star service. I’m disappointed to say I drove from Manly when I could have just went to the local Manly art supply store. I have been a loyal Eckersley’s customer but sorry I will no longer be supporting this business.

I am not new to art, but a lot of your products I’m still to understand and try. The older lady that works in the Brookvale store always makes you feel like you are a total inconvenience when you ask questions, quite rude to be honest! Sales would be much higher if someone was helpful. Art is a joy and it would be nice to have a joyful experience when visiting the store.

Loaded with treasure's!They're friendly and know their stock.Jo is an absolute joy and made my first experience in store a pleasure!I'm not an artist but she made me feel welcome and I walked out spending more than intended!
