Cobb & Co Country Motel

Friendly host. Lovely quiet, but central location. Rooms were spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The room contained a well equiped kitchen. Would certainly choose to stay here again if in Surat.

I spoke to Doug the owner and he cares about his motel and he try's to give it a family feel. I did see a dog running around the place just a small one. The units are very clean and modern as the photo shows. Surat is a town of hidden gems with of course you need to stay here to find those gems. Oh" one thing

Very comfortable motel were pleasantly surprised to find this type in small country town owner Doug was very welcoming we arrived at 8.30 pm and rang Doug he met us at motel and showed us to our room, under cover parking was good. For a very small fee Doug cooked breakfast for my husband which was bacon, egg, sausage, baked beans. I had a continental breakfast which he did not charge for. Very nice, big verandah with table and chairs which we made use of for breakfast, my only fault was at 5 o'clock in morning 2 blokes who had an early morning start used the table at our window and were dragging the chairs around and talking really loud. But overall would definitely stay there again if passing through Surat .

Our band ,Long Gone Daddy's stayed for a night. It was a enjoyable stay. Nice cabin comfortable beds good shower and a great manager with a sense of humour. What else could you ask for?

I was travelling through Surat for work with Lockhart Design, for a local farm house renovation & extension. I stayed overnight at the Cobb & Co Country Motel, which was perfect for my late check-in and early check-out work trip. I was met by a very hospitable Doug, who had turned the air conditioning on in my room earlier so it was cool when I got there. Great stop over place on your way through Surat.

Doug welcomed us with wonderful hospitality. The spacious well supplied and serviced room was comfortable with all we required. Shady verandah with garden view for an evening wind down. We will be back.

This has to be the best place I have stayed at. Comfy clean room nestled in a very cosy area and an awesome welcome.I was treated like royalty, a very happy atmosphere at a great price and an absolutely excellent breakfast to greet me when I awoke. It doesn't stop there.When I arrived I was asked if I would enjoy a cold crisp beer on the house as well as more toast and juice with my breakfast.To top it off free chocolate in the fridge.Love this place
