Everything about my experience here was incredible. A friendly service and greeting despite being a last minute booking. The knowledge of of the master is second to none. I left feeling $1,000,000. I cannot recommend this place more. If you are in Sydney it is the only place to get your hair done and truly experience a passionate craftsman at their finest.6 stars if possible.I will be back.

I had an excellent experience at Philippe Xavier! I walked in having accidentally booked at the wrong hairdresser, but the team were so accommodating and were able to see me straight away. I was greatly appreciative of this as I had a wedding to attend later that day and had not planned on having to make my hair presentable myself. Marco fully understood what I was after and did the most beautiful braided messy bun in incredible time. As well as this I was offered insightful conversation and given recommendations of good local restaurants. I am not a local but would love to return for a hair cut if visiting again.

While staying at the Four Seasons Sydney recently I had the pleasure of having my hair done at Philippe Xavier salon there. It’s a lively, welcoming place with very competent hairdressers who know good style. Philippe himself took care of my very dry locks with a special treatment that he highly recommended before blow drying. He was right: my hair became soft and manageable and the style lasted an unbelievable eight days!Since I live in the States and can’t go to the salon I asked for the names of the products used on my hair so I could replicate the experience. I was dutifully informed of them and how to use them. Thank you, Philippe Xavier for this game-changing experience!

I had my fringe trimmed and it was a job well done. Couldn't fault it! I'm from UK and what was rather upsetting was that I misunderstood the cost of $25 for £25 and said that it was expensive and left. Realising my mistake I returned only to find the receptionist gossiping about me! Not very nice! It was expensive for a 5 minute job but I desperately in needed the trim and didn't have time to go elsewhere!

Had an amazing experience here and came out with a new look that makes me look 10 years younger and with healthier hair than when I went in. Philippe gave me a beautiful new cut (I have wavy hair so not always easy to style properly) and Gaby was an amazing colorist. They are also just lovely and the 2.5 hours I spent there went by in a blink. Look forward to my next visit.

Best haircut and colour I ever had!I finally booked my appointment at Philippe Xavier and I could not be happier with the result!I was booked on a very busy Saturday morning. The team was always patient with me and I never felt like I was being rushed. My hair was very damaged and Marco really took the time to listen and advise me to get the best result possible given the damages done from previous colouring. I had my hair lightened, yet it doesn’t feel damaged and look so much more healthier. The products used were amazing as well. I got a lot of compliment on my new look and definitely love the result. The whole team was very professional and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend them and will be back in a few months!

When I was younger I was an apprentice @ some of the Top Salons in Sydney. I knew some very talented hairdressers. I decided to try this place one day several years ago. The colour was abysmal and the price was sky high. They couldn’t even fix colour when I returned, something quite basic. The boss even admitted his team weren’t as capable as other top salons in the Industry. But his prices sure match it. From someone in the know, I definitely don’t recommend here
