Don't waste your time, a pharmacy that obviously has had it too good for too long, you'll end up paying double if not triple the price for a script - paid $24 for a script that cost $5 at the AMCAL in the Kmart centre across the road, save your money and spend it there!

This Pharmacy has a huge floor plan. The chemist has health foods, gluten free products, cosmetics, giftware, a range of vitamins, medical aides, lots to browse and prescription / pharmaceutical needs.

Well and truly the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Every single staff member is doing their job and have a smile on their face while doing so. The shop itself is very well presented and clean and tidy. I've just moved to Mt Isa and I was highly impressed.

This pharmacy goes above and beyond in supplying the community with alternative natural treatments and products. There is also a section committed to supporting indigneous face creams, oils, soaps, and awesome indigneous focused books. Huge 5/5 for this place.

We have been travelling for 6 months, scripts filled several times in various towns and States. usually costs between $60 - $75. Today I was charged $110, and this was for the pharmacy brand medications which I did not ask for and I was not asked at the time if it was OK to substitute brand (and I don't usually) I would hate to think what the cost would be for the brands stated on the script.

Stopped by the pharmacy on my travels as needed a few supplies and advice. Leah was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in many aspects of the body and health. Very grateful for her assistance and her wonderful personality.

I visited this pharmacy for my husbands and my own medication while traveling from NSW. We were charged over dbl the price. I questioned this and the pharmacist said each pharmacy had the right to charge their own price. Medications were all on the PBS. I refused to pay this and requested they return my e script etc. While in Katherine NT I proceeded to fill the scripts again and the pharmacy had to ring through to Mt Isa because the script hadn’t been cancelled. Prices in Katherine were normal. $10 instead of $25. What right do they have yo charge their own price and to top it off not return my script. Medications are for blood pressure. Not happy.Gael Baker

The pharmacy doesn’t appear to be able to manage its supply chain as it had to turn away 10 customers trying to get scripts this morning. Potentially better off going to a chemist that isn’t a part of the Pharmacy Guild as they don’t report the same issues.

It’s hard to express my concerns over a recent interaction I had and be discreet about my personal life at the same time. But I’ll try my best;I know myself that anyone who works in health has a certain level of confidentiality they have to uphold - so it was disappointing to see a Pharmacist carry out a very personal health conversation over the counter in front of multiple customers and employees rather than pulling me to the side to discuss it further - if they had I would have been able to explain my situation better- and maybe not be ridiculed over my personal choices that, in my opinion, no one really has any business questioning anyway. Never the less getting health service anywhere should not make anyone feel so uncomfortable. So If your staff ever feel it’s necessary to intervene and offer a second opinion on a highly sensitive subject I highly recommend you re-evaluate the procedure in which they’re supposed to do so because I don’t want anyone to feel how I did a few days ago.Not only that but I feel their concern was extremely bias and again, that’s not something that should be prevalent in any healthcare facility. There are a number of variables which as professionals they probably should have considered anyway before making the comments they did.Usually my experience at this shop is good. But this needs to be brought to attention.
