Somewhat hidden from Main Street but was a delight. Food, coffee and pastries were all good. Recommend the sour cherry danish over the croissant.

Today was our first time dining in at Calla. It is a hidden gem in the heart of pyrmont. Located directly above the light rail station, it has both the charm and food of an upper class dining experience. From the moment we walked in our family was welcomed and made to feel at home. For anyone with young children you know how hard it can be to take your kids along to a restaurant fearing the havoc that may ensue. Vicky and Max the amazing and talented owners of Calla took four kids in their stride and straight away brought out chips and colouring pencils and paper which absolutely blew us away! With the kids occupied and under control we were then able to enjoy the selection of appetizers including home made sourdough and butter as well as an exquisite garden salad. When it came time for the mains, we took a chance on the seafood fettucine and supreme chicken. These are 2 dishes we would definitely try again. For dessert we were treated to freshly baked Madelines with strawberries and fresh vanilla cream.One of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had and will definitely come back again

Super friendly service and delish filter coffees! The pistachio pastry was a bit too sweet for my liking but the salted caramel banana was delicious.

Super tasty food for what might look like a pretty simple menu. The mushrooms are very good and so is the salmon. The kids eggs and sausages are quite a large portion. Overall great place and good coffee. Would recommend!

Such amazingly delicious sandwiches and the chips were the best I have ever had! The chips area so crispy it’s like they are double or triple fried! The sandwiches are very generous with such super fresh and delicious bread! The service was also super good, they were really nice and attentive. I really can’t wait to go back here and could not recommend it more if what you’re looking for is a decent sandwich and casual place for lunch!

Average food. Terrible service. Unclean tables and chairs. You have to self order and stand in a queue like it’s a corner bakery and you end up stinking of fried food because the place isn’t vented well.Not sure why this place has a “good” rating.

Love love love their croissants! The only place I've found in Sydney that does croissants egg free, and they're bloody incredible! Easy ambiance and friendly staff. It's my new weekend brunch spot closer to home!

Great Cafe, service was friendly food was delish beautiful sourdough. Coffee was good and our cininbun and choc crossing was enjoyed on our way home to the south coast.
