Snowy Vineyard & Microbrewery

Very disappointing experience I cannot endorse this venue as dog friendly. While chatting with other guests, the venue’s manager approached our group from behind and surprised our german shepherd, who briefly attempted to lunge at her. Max was leashed, fully secured and we corrected the behaviour immediately. Granted, he is a big dog (like many others at the venue I would note), but equally we are experienced dog owners, who have trained him extensively and take him regularly to public venues without incident. There was no harm or adverse outcome from the interaction, indeed several guests at the venue were speaking with us about Max at the time and continued petting him. There was no pattern of repeated lunging behaviour either, this was literally a single interaction lasting 2 seconds with a dog who was surprised.The manager returned to our table shortly after and demanded that we remove the dog, stating that he was a danger to children (!!) and she had to protect her business reputation. I daresay this would be news to all the kids who play with our dog at the park.Frankly the reaction was wholly disproportionate to the circumstances and no way in keeping with a “dog friendly” venue. Afternoon ruined unecessarily by small-minded management where the only injury was to personal pride. Max is a loving and playful dog and this simply was not fair.I hope this message will encourage management to behave more responsibly and with greater consideration towards dog owners in the future. It is a lovely venue and we had been really looking forward to our meal and beer tasting.(For transparency the manager did refund us without objection but we obviously wanted to stay and enjoy the afternoon)

What a fantastic winery and microbrewery. Great looking menu, good live music this afternoon.Ginger cider was fitting on such a hot day, being from Berridale there is no doubt we will be frequenting this place. Excellent food, excellent drinks and even better with margaritas now on tap!May 2023: Just keeps on getting better, beef burger and smokey pulled pork tacos were delicious.

Great fish tacos, great milk stout, great strong ale and a nice Reisling and Sauvignon Blanc. And the dog Sadie is the best! Lovely tasting room and delightful staff! I give it 5!

had an exceptional experience today for lunch. the weather was awesome, the area was quiet and calm, the food was great. overall a incredible place to go for a drink or lunch. we had the pumpkin arancini, crumbed chicken tacos and the pumpkin salad which they happily changed the dressing to be vegan. all of it tasted fresh and was delectable. selection of beers on offer also outstanding. the ginger cider and Neipa 10/10. overall would highly recommend coming here, atmosphere and food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to spend the afternoon. The vegan burger was amazing and the pumpkin arancini very tasty.I’ve tried the pink lady cider (nice balanced cider) and my partner had two of the beers and really enjoyed it.A must go brewery if you near Dalgety and Jindabyne.

New owners have arrived in January 2018, and are young, attentive and very hospitable - I had a great time. It is at the end of a fair bit of dirt road (depending on which way you come) but was definitely worth the drive. It even has a carpeted kids' room with a massive chalkboard for the young ones to draw, or chill on mats and read some books or play with toys.

Great spot out the back of Dalgety. Food, beer and service was excellent. Highly recommend a visit

Sundae arvo lunch was perfect - tacos and a beer tasting pallet went down a treat! The menu is simple but tasty, food quick and delicious! Loved the ginger cider! Also major bonus was the very cute farm pup!
