A great place to stop and have tea with scones, and a meal, with a clear view of their tea growing, and maybe be harvested. We didn't have a meal here but next time we might. The scones were lovely. There are lots of chairs and tables here, so it must be quite popular. There are tree kangaroos that live in the trees, you might get to see one if you go looking. You can also buy teapots and things here.

Now under new management, Nerada has only improved its offering. The menu at the cafe is fairly wide, even offering coffees! The Lumholtz Tree Kangaroos are still hanging around (pardon the pun) and this is the best spot to see them on the Tablelands.

Came by to have some morning tea, only to come across three tree kangaroos just outside the cafe!! Cute little buggers.I had a scone and tea, and both were very tasty. I ordered a vegan churro for my girlfriend as she has a dairy allergy, but when it came out it had regular icecream and nutella! Definitely not vegan. We encountered plenty of issues with allergen advice in NQ, but this was the strangest. Just be careful when ordering.I got better photos of the tea fields from the road, as opposed to the viewing platform itself.

Well worth a visit. Also definitely have a cuppa with a scone, jam & cream. (yum) The banana bread was delicious too! Saw a Tree Kangaroo on their property was very high up in a tree, watching us watch it! This place is definitely worth a visit if you are near Malanda QLD anytime..

Enjoying a cup of tea at the actually Nerada plantation was definitely a highlight on my Atherton trip. It’s a little expensive and the tea house is nothing flash but is worth wild taking some time to relax by the plantation and take a selfie with the teapot. Nice little shop with a great selection of teas and teapots to take home with you.

Picturesque scenery as you sip tea made on the farm. Stop by the factory to see how it's made. We also had the rare joy of stumbling across the endangered tree kangaroos on the property as well!

Visited with my mum as we love English breakfast tea. Definitely worth the slight detour. We had tea and scones and later popped into the factory which you could smell the tea from outside! The ladies in the Cafe were lovely and thanks to the manager for allowing me to purchase a cup with my favourite flower on that I spotted on a table as it wasn't on the gift shop shelves.

Attended the tour on how the tea is grown and processed. Tracey is a really nice tour guide whom was very knowledgeable on the entire process and she was also very polite.Had the high tea with my partner, we got to choose 2 teas and were served with scones and an assortment of delicious treats including muffins, brownies and sandwiches. Very full by the end and it all tasted lovely.I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to try something new, learn something, appreciate tea and just wants a nice day out. About 1-2 hours is a good amount of time for the tour, food and photos.
