Big Plans Melbourne

I am just about to submit my plans for Council approval but wanted to be absolutely certain I am happy with them. This was a great experience and did exactly what I wanted it to do. I now know that everything works as I had hoped it would and that every piece of furniture I want to place fits exactly where I have envisaged it will.It was great fun and only took half an hour, with real furniture and fake walls put in place on my plans, which were projected at actual size on the floor of the Big Plans warehouse to give me a real sense of how they will function when built in the real world.The Big Plans representative, Tass, is pleasant, really efficient and easy to work with. He has a wealth of experience and made two suggestions of places he thought minor improvements could be made - both of which I am taking on board and both can be done by my builder without the need to go back to the draughtsman for the plans to be altered.I am confident my house will be exactly the house I want now that I have taken advantage of the service Big Plans offers. I would encourage anyone building a house to do the same.

Well worthwhile experience visiting Big Plans Melbourne! We thought we had our custom house design down pat but seeing it and being able to walk through and explore all the rooms and different concepts was amazing. What a wonderful idea and experience. Our plans looked perfect and paper but after our walk through we made quiet a few adjustments to our home. Well worth the time and money. I must for anyone building a home.

This was the best thing that we could have done before our build. The team at Big Plans are brilliant and beyond helpful from when we first enquired right through to and on the day. The insight that they provided helped us to make some small changes that we could not see on the plans that will make a huge difference to our new home. Was very beneficial to see spaces at a 1 to 1 scale to really see what works and doesn’t. Would highly recommend anyone building to go to Big Plans.

I don't know why this place isn't more well known than it is. It's not just commercial entities that use their services. We made a lot of significant changes that we just wouldn't have realised if we hadn't been able to walk out our plans on scale. From a residential build viewpoint, I would recommend doing this after you've got planning and building permit and your architect has issued almost final plans. You will find yourself surprised. Thanks also to Darius for his jolly useful tips.

BigPlans was an extremely worthwhile experience. Although we'd spent months on our plans, viewing them in actual size cleared up all areas of concern. Tass' experience and suggestions were invaluable in coming up with satisfactory alternatives. I'd highly recommend it as a very cost effective exercise to anyone building!
