Had a terrible experience there today with a staff member being quiet rude. And telling me I was in the wrong que after been waiting a long period of time (saying I should no which lines are for being served are as its been like that for 2 weeks or more. Like everyone goes there on a weekly basis) . I ended up walking out, I will not go back there. I have lived on the island for over 30 years and will not be going back there again. Most people go to the chemist because they are sick, stressed, mental health they don't need to be treated in that way.

The staff are wonderful and always obliging.Well stocked store, if they don’t stock a product they will try to get it in for you.The shop has specials on items all the time and if you join the club you get emails and discounts on items.The owner Fred is always helpful and all of the other pharmacist are friendly.I have read other reviews and have been using this pharmacy for at least 10 yrs. I feel that most people that go to the pharmacy are ill and not in the best frame of mind. I think the staff cope remarkably well considering these trying times with Covid, and it isn’t easy to be happy and positive all the time when 90% of the customers are ill and unhappy. Smile and you will usually get a smile back

Fist time at this chemist the staff they were so helpful didn't have my the brand I needed without any problem they told me that they order it in for me and telephoned next day so professional and is a credit to that chemist I'll be back

Just because someone take a Antihistamine doesn’t make them a addict and as for the pharmacy and staff member that will whispering behind my back please remember you’re in a public place you really shouldn’t whisper.

My hubby & I are over 65 and booked online to have our flue injections. No fee was mentioned and when we arrived was informed that we had to pay $25.00 each. Just disappointed that we were not informed of this when the booking was made or when I rang to confirm the time slot earlier in the day of our appointments. Have now booked at our local doctors clinic and is FOC for 65 & over so keep in mind when booking your flue shot :-)

Star Discount Chemist is our local chemist, good range of products, very helpful and friendly staff, easy parking and competitive pricing.We always endeavour to support our local businesses, especially if the availability of our needs are met .Highly recommended.Update !Gold lotto, Powerball, scratchies etc. now available from our local Star Discount Chemist, same friendly service and no need to make the trip to the main shopping centre, Bellara or Bongaree.

I have been with this chemist through three iterations of their name/ownership and throughout the staff have been extraordinarily kind, helpful, and patient.As a bedbound client, I am so grateful for their consistent service, care, and advice.
