Arty stuff has never been my thing, but we had a good day out looking at the art work and reading the information.Staff were extremely helpful and gave us a bit of information regarding a few pieces we looked at.Not a bad way to spend a few hours

Super helpful staff that gave us a quick tour and background details on the artists. Spent 40mins looking through the exhibits capturing our life in 2020. Great experience for kids and adults. The inflatable exhibit particularly popular with the kids .... or the art hidden behind little cupboard doors. Free entry too!!

Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA)
Local art museum located in what used to be the town hall. Aptly features a good number of indigenous arts. Well designed contemporary space features cleverly located surprise cupboards that children can discover. Charming, friendly and kind museum staff. Gallery gift shop features a good collection of books and novelties. Also has a cafe attached to the building. Opens up to the local park and is interesting architecturally.

Really enjoyed our time here. We were lucky to have a tour here guided by Gong, a pleasant mannered and knowledgeable staff. She was always happy to answer questions and share her insights, which adds to the overall experience of visiting the museum.Overall, the Murray Art Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in contemporary Australian art. Its world-class collection, engaging programming, and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout institution in the Australian art world. I highly recommend a visit!

We received an impressive, warm, knowledgeable, welcome from Indy. Other staff were very helpful too. The art by young artists was brilliant. The diverse art and kids area were beautifully presented. The shop has some lovely, interesting, different items.

A nice museum in Albury CBD. One side has its new and modern design (picture 5 & 6), the other side has the traditional design ( picture 7), a perfect combination! Different kinds of art works and exhibitions. Staff is very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

We wandered into this museum without much idea on what we'd find. We were greeted like long lost friends, was given an excellent overview of what was on offer and then was personally escorted through one of the exhibits. A truely wonderful experience, one I'd recommend.
