Great service and quality! Have had things altered here in the past and was very happy with price, quality and turn around time. However, I went in today to get my wedding suit fitted and just got great advice to not change anything, as it already sits well... Great to see that a business is not interested in the quick money and make up work where it isn't needed!WILL BE BACK FOR SURE :)

Helena has been helping me look the best in my clothes now for almost 20 years. Her eye for design and excellent tailoring skills transform clothes I love into clothes that fit me, in the same way that I see her do for others, when waiting my turn. She is always pleasant and friendly in her interactions with her customers and we agree that we are indeed lucky to know her and to be her customers.

Being a man with a love for finely fitted clothes, when I moved from London to Sydney 9 years ago, a good alterations tailor was an essential find for me. I tried a couple that were OK, but once I'd found Helena at Oscar Alterations I knew I'd found the place. Helena & her team have refitted countless suits, jackets & trousers for me, including tricky alterations like narrowing & re-cutting the line of shoulders on suit jackets. The work is always excellent & always at a very reasonable price. Both me & my wife would never use any other alteration shop in Sydney, Helena really is that good. My only worry is what I will do when she retires.

This alterations shop is the best in the business. Her work is always on point and the price is always so reasonable. I refer people there daily as i work at Politix at Bondi Junction and our customers always come back so happy with her work, whether it is just some pants being taken up or a full suit being altered we have never had a bad review.I don't live in the area but will still take all my alterations to her as she is so helpful and her experience is second to none.

Magic happens in this shop: torn, worn, and damaged clothing of all types go in here and come out restored and wearable again. See the photos of a jacket from Sear's (USA) before (torn lining), and after repairs at this shop (stronger and better than new!). Pricing very reasonable and service punctual. These people know what they are doing and you can't go wrong, even with the most delicate and fashionable clothing. Excellent at alterations too, such as a jacket and pants for my son's school formal. Would give 6******, if possible!

Helena is honestly the best in the business! My family have been going to see her for our alterations for years. She is so meticulous with her work, I really wouldn't go anywhere else. Helena is a fabulous dressmaker. I have been going to her shop handily on the corner in Bondi Junction for about fifteen years now. Her work is first class and she is very creative in solving my endless problems. She can let out skirts, take skirts in, takes dresses up from the shoulders to make them look better on me, a short person. She helps me make the right decisions so that clothes are altered to best suit me.She even made a doona cover for me once, from a vintage tablecloth.Helena is always on time with the jobs, she's never once let me down. Her prices are very reasonable for the great care she takes to get things right.Thank you Helena!
