Clearly Dental Camden (formerly Barry Smith Dental)

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Barry Smith and his wonderful team on Argyle Street in Camden, for about 6 years now.I am 63 and my wife is 55...and we have both had regular dental care our whole lives...and both of us consider Dr. Barry and his team to be the BEST DENTIST AND DENTAL TEAM that we have EVER had the pleasure of having provide care for us. He is head and shoulders above every other dentist we have ever been to, in the many,. many places we have lived. Seriously, we are ecstatic about him and his work.When we began going to Dr. Barry, both my wife and I had a few problem teeth" that we had been having trouble with for years...had been to three or four other dentists that had proven unable to sort them out. Clearly Dental Camden is the most amazing dentist there is. I've never had a problem with them, everyone is so lovely and kind. I will never go to another dentist.

Worst experience I have encountered. I have suffered tooth pain and unable to eat on right side of mouth despite visiting their practice on 6.9.21 at Camden Rooms. I was evaluated and given 2 exrays of which I was referred to a jaw specialist and TMJ clinic which was not the cause of my problem which resulted in out of pocket expenses of $600 to no avail. Asked if I could see Dr Barry Smith which seemed too difficult. Went to see another dentist who arranged periodontal debridement of two teeth because of acute inflammation between two crowns and I may lose one or both of these teeth because of the inflammation which was not treated a month ago.

Today I had the worst experience at the Barry Smith Narellan practice. Two week ago I attended the Camden location and had my teeth cleaned and xrayed. I asked for my teeth to be internally whitening and to sort out my front tooth to be capped. So I proceeded to book an appointment for two weeks time. I had a day off work to have this procedure done, I arrived and the Dentist did not have this procedure booked in for me and only stated that a back tooth to filled was booked instead , they proceeded to xray my teeth in which I had an xray done only two weeks prior and a month rinse, they had the hide to charge me $90. and nothing was done.. I was so angry and frustrated that the communication and lack of any good customer service was given. I'm not a rich person and work hard for my money and what happened to me today was just highway robbery. I paid for a xray I didn't need and a mouth rinse I didn't need , I might as wee ell of just thrown the money out the window at least someone then could of found and enjoyed it, not given these absolute thifes my money , I will never step into Barry Smith Dental practices again and I will inform all to do the same, thank you Barry Smith Dental enjoy my $90.Silvia

Don't be late or you will miss your appointment! I called in saying I was running 5 min late. Got in and the first thing they said was I missed my appointment. But the person after me got in early and they took that patient in. So technically I was 10min late. Either way showed no flexibility at all. Not even my fully booked paediatrician who charges for all appointments behaves this way. Never had this problem when it was Barry Smith. Such a shame we have been coming to this practice for years. I took a day off work to get here. All I got was so sorry you had a bad experience. Unbelievable!

Clean and inviting practice, front office staff are inviting, friendly and helpful. The hygeinists, dentists and Dr Barry Smith are all very inviting and have great bedside manner left me feeling safe and comfortable through the whole visit, they are also very good with young kids and putting them at ease while at the practice.

We came here because my inlaws strongly recommended it. We have been here many times now for checkups, cleaning and fillings. The receptions are welcoming and smiley. The dental technicians each time are all very professional and friendly. But this 5 star review is for Donia who did filling for my 6yo daughter. She was so good with children! My daughter was very scared and teary, I was not sure if it could be done, but Donia managed to do it so quickly. I'm super impressed! I highly recommend this practice.

Barry is the best dentist in the world, in my experience. No one is better. I have tricky teeth issues and he has navigated them brilliantly.Thanks Barry!

Amazing service & the guys were so good explaining everything through .I missed 2 appointments due to my work but they they sorted it all out for me rebooked me again without charging me anything for missing my appointments-Andy

Very professioanl, positive attitudes from the staff and even though it is the dentist and we all know how we love going to the Dentist, Clearly Dental does all possible to make the patients feel relaxed and calm. 5 stars.
