Mel was amazing - it was our friends birthday and she gave us a free bottle of his favourite wine from the tasting which was such a lovely touch. She paired the chocolate and wine really wine which made a great experience!

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Bonvilla with Melissa. Not only was she very informative but every wine we tasted exceeded our expectations. We are so happy that we visited the cellar door and we will return. Thank you for a lovely experience

Sensational wines, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Couldn't recommend more!We recently stumbled upon Bonvilla Estate after no luck at a neighbouring cellar door. However, this was an absolute hidden gem.A lot of the comments make reference to Mel, and this is absolutely justified. From walking in she was welcoming to my wife, myself and our dog, Cola. Despite a busy Easter Sunday she took every chance to come and sit (where practicable) and chat to us about the journey of the winery, the wines (of course), and the challenges of making wine in the last few years.Highly recommend and give them a visit if you're looking for a truly personal touch with some absolutely wonderful wines.P.s. The 2019 shiraz is sublime!

Such a special place with fantastic wines. Feel free to have a tasting where you feel an intimate connection to the process and the vineyard. Mel is one of a kind who makes you feel welcome and is a wealth of knowledge. This is a “must do” when you go to the Hunter. Highly recommend.
