Yangtze Chinese Restaurant
We dined in & had very tasty dishes, all served nice & hot. Friendly service, calm atmos. Not too long wait, considering restaurant was just over half full on a Thursday night. Lovely egg fried rice, chicken with ginger, duck & plum sauce. Garlic prawns were our favourite. Lemon lime bitters drink was unusually tasty compared to usual pub version.

We go to the Yangtze 3-4 times a year and always enjoy it. The banquet is good value and good quality. Thanks for being a wonderful place to dine out at!

Very average quality and flavour.The fried rice could be so much better, it has a nice smoked bacon flavour but that’s the only good thing about it. Most likely different chefs, so depending what day you go, it could be good or bad.

Ordered Vegetarian Fried Rice and instantly regretting it - why didn't I visit this place earlier as it's a mere stone throw away?The wok hey is authentic and the texture of the rice is perfect! Will be walking over more frequently in future for sure.

Ordered the honey chicken, beef with cashews and steam rice for takeaway. They said it would be ready in 15 so I left as soon as I ended the call. The Honey chicken was dry and chewy and the sauce wasnt the best. The steamed rice was very dry and tasteless. The beef cashew was the only thing that was ANYTHING NEAR fresh and is the only reason this isnt a one star review. DON'T GET TAKE AWAY THEY ONLY GIVE OLD FOOD.

Steamed rice was so dry and cold, honey chicken was chewey and old, cashew beef was super tender meat and good sauce but it was so so so cold, all food almost inedible im left hungry with a plate to go in the bin, super disappointed they clearly dont care about takeaway orders freshness.

Great place to have family dinner or order takeaways. I had king prawns with stir-fried rice and veggies. It was very tasty. Wine was also very good. My hubby ordered dack. It was great. There is an aquarium which is well maintained and will keep your kids busy with Nemo and Dori.

Have had the lunch special a few times now and have enjoyed it every time. My personal favourite is the Chicken with Cashew Nuts. The fried rice is very basic with no prawns, bean sprouts or pork but the bacon style pieces that are in it give it a lovely smokey flavour.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is a specific Chinese cuisine, but I found the food bland, and tasteless. The egg fried rice seemed like a literal egg and rice without any ‘Chinese flavor’. The chicken entree was tasteless too. Again, maybe this is a specific cuisine or they cater to patrons who prefer food like this but I was hoping to eat conventional Chinese food and this definitely didn’t taste like that. I’m used to spending $50-60 for a family of 3-4, but this was a big disappointment for the price point

Yangtze Chinese Restaurant
I took my daughter there for dinner tonight.The service was really quick.The staff very friendly.We ordered takeaway and the meal servings were a really good size.It looked nice inside if you wanted to dine in.I truly recommend trying this restaurant, you won't regret it.
