Dan Murphy's Mona Vale

Normally I would give a dan Murphy’s a great review especially this mona vale one as I’ve come for a couple years now. But today when I went in with my two friends we were rudely approached. I understand the need to ensure people are 18+ but when you’re 23 and being approached by a worker younger than you rudely approaching saying “do you need some help here” when you’re deciding on what vodka you want. The issue was not even that to begin with but when I responded that we were just grabbing vodka she basically cut me off to say “well can u show some ID then?” I was gobsmacked, after showing her our ID’s she walked off , no longer deciding to offer us any help. It was very obvious she had been paged to come and make sure we weren’t stealing or under age, lol. I felt like I was being watched by the whole staff. I just couldn’t believe how rude the approach and conversation was. My recommendation would be to kindly ask for our IDs , as to not make the customer feel like they’re about to rob the store.

Said on website they stock Jetty Road, so didn’t bring any up with me. Get there, they don’t stock it & never have. Website still says in stock. Bunch of weasels.

Such a huge range and spacious store. Very helpful and pleasant checkout staff. Website might be a bit innacurate... said was out of a particular product, but there were many on shelf. Highly recommended

Was just at Dan Murphy's Mona Vale buying a 1litre bottle of JD's for my brother.l dropped the bottle just outside the store...FML right.l went back inside to get another bottle and noticed the staff putting up warning signs and cleaning the mess up.l laughed with the cashier as l tenered my card a 2nd time when a tall young bloke strode up and said to the cashier...Give it to him...it's fine"..l was astonished
